"We went to several fabricators. Many places have sterile warehouses full of products. The guys at Stone Garden have everything outside and it is easy to see how the stone looks in the natural light (not in a dark warehouse with artificial lighting). <br /> Jose helped us select something within our budget and taste. The true test came during installation when they discovered our cabinet installer did not level some cabinets. They worked around it and made sure you could not tell! <br /> They went the extra mile to make things right and I believe they have the best prices in town. "My wife and I wanted new hard woods in our house but had very specific requirements that we could not typically find locally.  My wife wanted a dark floor while I wanted extreme durability in a natural hard wood.  We did our homework and decided that Brazilian Walnut (Ipe) most closely matched what we wanted.  <br /> After looking locally for something that fit the bill, the flooring we found was either over $12 sq/ft (too expensive) or not dark enough.  I started searching on-line and ran across Brazilian Direct.  Their prices seemed reasonable (a bit over $6 sq/ft for what we wanted) and they even had a tinted (dark) version of the floor we liked. <br /> After several weeks of questions and further research, we decided to place an order.  We we worked with a representative named Sannon who helped us every step of the way.  She sent us samples, instructions, guides - everything to make us more comfortable about our eventual order.  Our order came right on schedule and the wood was really beautiful.  After several weeks of the required acclimation we had a local installer put the floor down.  They did an excellent job and we really love our floor.  There was very little waste and in fact we had at least 3 boxes left over. <br /> I highly recommend Brazilian Direct.  We are considering using them again for a deck project we'd like to do in the future. <br />"

"This is a newer company that really impressed us with their quality and character.  They are in Logan but Terry and his partner came up to Delaware and measured our Corrian counter tops we were replacing as part of our kitchen remodeling project.  They were prompt and professional.  Terry, as it turns out, has years of experience fabricating and installing stone counter tops.  They have you go to Mont Stone in Hilliard to pick out the slab you want.  The staff at Mont Stone were amazing and had a huge selection of stone to choose from.  Our budget only allowed for $ 40.00 per square foot granite, but Mont had the most to choose from at this price point than four other companies we considered using!  Granite is not cheap but is just a little higher than laminates or Corrian, which we did not like.  The install and experience overall was wonderful!  For $ 2000.00 we received Granite at our budgeted $ 40.00 per square foot target AND a 50/50 stainless steel sink, which is amazing!  Great guys to work with and strongly recommend them! <br />"

"I have used several Granite Gold products and like their effectiveness because they do what they are supposed to do. No strong fumes or irritating skin problems. The granite counter top daily cleaner and polish are so easy to use (spay it on and wipe with a paper towel) to keep all your stone products clean and shiny. I was surprised to see how effective the grout cleaner is. I sprayed it on some dirty tire floors in the bathroom and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then I went over it with the scrub brush they provide. It looked clean then, but when it dried, it was much brighter. This is a 40 Year old bathroom tile floor pictured.
