"I met with AJ from Be Home Remodeling to get a quote on replacing my bathroom floor and shower stall. As our bathroom is not large enough to accommodate a tub shower, I naturally assumed that a door to the stall was to be included in the quote. I was given a reasonable quote and decided to move forward with the project. AJ became very pushy about getting a down payment to start the work. When I was finally able to provide the down payment, he had his crew come out to start working. They did not clean up or trim down the flooring material to ensure that it properly fit into our bathroom. They did not pull out the vanity to ensure that the flooring underneath it was also replaced. They left gaps between the shower stalls and the walls. And they did not install a door on our shower stall. When my parents confronted AJ about the door to the shower stall, he told my father that I had said we did not need one. I said no such thing. DO NOT GO WITH THESE PEOPLE! THEY RUSH THEIR WORK AND THE Q"

Over these years as an employee of other construction companies and being self employed, I have mastered all of the trades that are involved in residential remodeling and perform all of the work myself. "The work they did is top notch, I love our patio and couldn't be happier with what they've done with the space. They did a lot of work for us over two months to build a patio and beautiful back yard. We love it. That said, our home is a 70+ year old house in Magnolia with concrete pipes. A year or so after they did the work we had a backup. After the plumbers came out they found that a section of the piping had been crushed by a large rock that had been set while they were regrading the area. The repairs were ~15k all said and done then. I contacted Ryan and he looked into their insurance covering it and they weren't going to do it out of pocket. I value my time more than money and I let it go, and Ryan had some guys come out and fix the area that had to be torn up for free, least they can do. Well after they were done the plumbers spotted another crushed section that lined up and should be 'okay'. Fast forward a year, it wasn't we had another backup. They cleared it and we just had it fixed with another 5k bill. Ryan had said they wouldn't do it for free but 'hours and material'. They didn't give me a quote I shrugged and assumed it would be a mornings worth of work. They came out and spent two days, and they just handed me a bill for another $3200, to clean up after damage they caused and I'm paying for."
