"We just purchased a 2 family home less than a year ago. We had been smelling gas in our home near the chimney on and off. We called PSEG on 2 occasions, and on one trip they capped the line in the apartment, and the 2nd time they disconnected (what they thought at the time was) the gas line feeding the 2nd floor chimney, but it was the line for the 1st floor.
