I've remodeled kitchens, baths, basements, and virtually every room in a home. I've ran equipment, developed roads, driveways, and fixed drainage issues. I've replaced water heaters, faucets, dishwashers, washers and driers. Doors, windows, pet doors, and skylights are familiar to me. Various kinds of fencing, gates, and pet containment. "I had hired Matthew for work in our bathrooms. My wife & I were very pleased with his work. Also, at that time, I was looking for a contractor to replace our 1000 sq ft rotting old deck. He & I got on that subject & I asked if he would be interested. He submitted a detailed proposal of what he'd do along with a timeline. It was very impressive. What was also a plus, he would take a credit card payment. I hired him. I told him I was in no big rush to complete the job as I knew it would take quite a bit of his time & I would be happy to work with his scheduling. The work was completed in reasonable time & the deck looks great. Everyone that has seen it has been impressed. Job well done. Matthew is in deed, a Very Good Handyman and I have in lined up for several jobs later this year. What is most important that I need to add: August/2017, I contacted Yavapai Contractors in Prescott asking for a list of contractors to do this deck job. I was provided with 1 name. I contacted him, he came to my home, took his measurements & I never heard from him. Secondly, several businesses from Flagstaff advertise in our local phone books that they do deck work but when I called them they all said they were either not doing deck work at this time or they didn't come to Sedona. I was also able to contact 2 local contractors. Each came to my home, took their measurements. One I never heard from again & the other (from what I learned from a close friend, sub-contracted his jobs with cheap labor & not good quality work). Personally I didn't get a good "read" when I met with this contactor especially when he told me his wife told him to "make lots of money" as he related to me."
