I contacted more than a handful of various contractors in the area (many who didn't even returm my call) and finally decided to book Mr. Handyman. I am very particular about work done on our house, so I arranged to have a 1-hour consulation meeting with Michael (the tech doing the work) to discuss what he planned to do, the materials he would use, and methods he would employ for the project. I met with Michael and was very impressed with his experince and knowledge. On project day, he came out to our house at the scheduled time, removed the old trim, and installed the new trim in a VERY timely manner. The new trim looks wonderful, and I am totally satisfied with the result. Michael was extremely professional and pleasant to work with. Also, the customer support personnel I interacted with at Mr. Handyman were very pleasant and professional. The total cost of the job was quite reasonable too. "David showed up on time and did some extra work like pick up drywall for me and deliver it , but the fence work was so-so. They didn't cut the bottoms of the new fence pieces off evenly with the old fencing, so I had to call them back to fix that, which they did. They installed a new gate handle and it was flimsily made and after 4 months, has now broken off, so I have to go replace that one. Nice guys overall, but workmanship needed a little polish."
