"Showing up on time and carefully explaining the process of the work involved over two days, Josh Armstrong and his crew removed two huge Douglas Fir trees from our back yard in a difficult position, both trees had to be taken down branch by branch and winched down in very close quarters to our home, flower gardens and fencing and then the trunk chainsawed in chunks and dropped carefully without doing serious damage. The debris was carefully raked up and removed and at all times they were polite and thoughtful and we are grateful for the job done at a very reasonable cost."

There were two teams - one for roofing, and one for gutters. They were professional, highly skilled workers who were respectful of owners concerns each step of the way. "The DaBella representatives were very responsive. The roofing installer/subcontractor (Heart General Construction) was also very responsive via phone calls to the foreman who then contacted the crew. It was a 2-day job. On the first day I found it frustrating that there was no crew member on site who spoke English to answer questions. But I requested from the foreman and received an English speaking crew chief on the second day so that fixed that frustration. The quality of the work by the roofing crew and the post-installation inspectors was outstanding. Roofing is now very expensive but the combination of the top quality GAF shingles and other features, plus DaBella and Heart personnel delivered an excellent result. A little pricey but worth it in our opinion."

"Everyone from Spruce was amazing. Our roof was in pretty bad shape. Steve from Spuce did a thorough inspection of our roof including getting into the crawlspace. He took the time to patch up some of the bigger holes while he was up there. The price was right in line with the other bids we received and Steve always was looking for ways to save us money here and there. The on site team was friendly and professional. Throughout the project the team guided us through our options and was really patient as we made decisions on roofing type, skylights, etc."

"Elias Contruction provided a detailed estimate after inspecting the roof and making some qualified recommendations. The project required a few change orders that were not clarified in writing. I would recommend hiring Elias if you get changes in writing. They cleaned up pretty well although they missed a few things due to finishing in the dark. Overall satisfied with the job and cost was 60% of other bids due to sheathing adjustment."
