Rafael arrived quickly after the call, was very courteous, and explained all the options as well as what he was doing during each step. He diagnosed the damage with sophisticated equipment (e.g. infrared cameras, moisture detection tools), extracted water, removed wet baseboards and drywall, set up industrial blowers and dehumidifiers to dry the area, and visited daily to check progress and move the equipment around. It is not easy to find a contractor this good for this type of work."

"I have been with them for a long time, but I do not like the trend that I am seeing. Their coverage is starting to be less and less. They are quick, and they will respond. The quality of what they do is good, just getting them to do it is the problem. Its more out of pocket than it use to be. I didn't like last time, I had a repair done on an air conditioner. The out of pocket was much as when I had the entire air conditioner replace. I asked how much did they pay the contractor. I asked if I paid them, and they didn't. That set me off. That is how I felt. I can't confirm it, and it gave me a feeling there was something shady going on. It was them or their contractor's that didn't do something by board. What I am hearing around no one is any better."

"Palm Construction used subcontractors at every stage (not unusual), but there was little to no oversight. Communication was a problem. I am doubtful that the product (Trex decking) was installed according to **manufacturers guidelines** and worry what that may mean to the longevity of the final product. Some parts of the install were handled brilliantly and with finesse. Other parts were done hurriedly, resulting in damage to the substructure. Palm has made efforts to repair or redo, as necessary, which I appreciate, but some of their promises fell by the wayside."
