We're the East Tennessee pest control all these out of state corporations are trying to imitate. We out-perform everyone and guarantee our results. As our customer, you're entitled to as many free re-services as necessary to get the ants, spiders, or anything else gone. People in Tennessee have been dropping their 'made in China companies' in droves for our solid American grit. We do Interior, exterior, Ants, Spiders, Wasps, Ticks, Fleas, Rodents, Aphids, Snails, Centipedes, and a lot more. Everything we use is pet and child friendly.

"We just received our quarterly Pest control service 4/24 from Valor. We are still extremly pleased with our service. Valors technicians have always been thorough and professional. Our technician this day was Samuel Ramsey. He went above and beyond to make sure our flea and tick problem was taken care of. We also haven't seen German roaches since the beginning of our service with this company. I highly recommend Valor Pest Control company."

"Horrible. They lied to me and told me I had fungi under my home. I called a mold and all dry company to come out and check they completely lied. Not only that, they told me I had $9,000 worth of fungi under my home. They sent out a Thomas dunkley who demanded it $5,000 check on the spot. The company is never bothered to call and ask what happened and I believe this tech is still working for them. He would have taken my $5,000 right. Then he told my house was not safe to live in with that fungi absolute con artist. This is what happened to me. I don't know how you deal with them but my dealings weren't good so just beware"

"We heard scratching in our attic and called Orkin to take a look on 12/23/23. They said we had a mice infestation and required a full insulation replacement. They told us they'd replace all the blown insulation and batting, decontaminate the attic, and replace it with their cellulose insulation that is rated at an R-49 at 13" with an entrapment in the crawl space. We were not given a contact. This contract was supposed to be emailed on 12/27/2023 and has never been emailed. We received a copy on 12/30/2023 after the work had been completed. This took us asking the installer upon arrival, calling the main office 3 times, calling the salesman 7 times, and texting the sales person 3 times before speaking to the insulation man 4 more times to receive it. (That's 19 times). During the installation the workers did not remove the batting. They said that wasn't included. We still did not have paperwork. After 4 calls between an installer and a district manager they agreed to do the work but acted as if they were giving us a "free deal" which was absolutely not true. They could not replace our insulation that day and left us without insulation while the temperatures outside dropped to the 30s. The house could get warm because of the lack of insulation and racked up a hefty electric bill. We were told that a licensed electrician would be called after the insulation was removed to see if mice damaged the wires. Orkin (who are not licensed electricians) determined an electrician did not need to be called and went ahead with the insulation installation. There was chew damage to the wires that they did not acknowledge. We are still missing batting that wasn't fully replaced. We were charged for Orkin's yearly pest control service without ever signing paperwork (they confirmed this) and a service man lied and reported that he did a home visit. No one came. We've yet to be fully refunded for this, but they had no problem stealing from us without signed paperwork or providing any service. Orkin claims that we only pay once we are satisfied and the job is completed. And we aren't satisfied and the job wasn't finished. It is now 2/5/24 and we are still waiting for them to finish the job."

"Where do I begin ? Let’s start with my missing cat. Last Friday froggs technician Travis Beeler entered my home to do a monthly inspection. Upon coming out of the basement Travis said my cat was down there. Why he didn’t shut the door behind him i don’t know but that’s different story. I immediately go to check didn’t find him out a can of wet food down and go to look outside. I couldn’t find him, Travis who was surprisingly still in my driveway rolls down his window and I ask him if he was sure he saw him and he said “yes do you want me to come help you find him? I decline his offer for the fact if he was inside it was necessary. He says ok and I quote “at least you know he inside.” I go back inside to check nothing outside nothing. I try to reach out to froggs during office hours on Friday for 3 hours couldn’t get a call back left multiple messages. In attempt to see if my cat may have caught a ride, because he didn’t just vanish from basement which is small and sealed and only way out back up the basement or the small side door in the basement. Next day Mr beeler left me a voicemail saying that he doesn’t have my cat that he thinks he is still in the basement (34hrs after the fact) that he does have video inside and outside of his truck to prove that he didn’t take him and that he is indeed sorry for my cat about what he doesn’t say. he mentions that he doesn’t think my property manager didn’t take the cat either (which now strikes me as very odd now considering she was never mentioned). Well to me I thought that was gonna be awesome!! I would at least be able to see it and have the peace of mind that he didnt take my cat!! Because at this point the worst is definitely becoming an option. So I reach out to froggs today Monday after no one still hadn’t returned my calls from Friday. In an effort to see the video because I’m super concerned about my cat I had already made and posted flyers , posted online everything I possibly can do, now I would like to see this video you said you have. I get put on call with “Jeremiah” he claims to be the owner although the way he spoke and treated me makes me think differently. Introduce myself ask if he is familiar with the situation he says yes (why didn’t anyone reach out to me then? Weird) And here is where it goes south, upon asking Jeremiah if there is footage he says “yes” I ask inside and outside the truck 360 degrees? He says “yep” I ask to see it he says “no I can’t send it” He said that I needed to send the POLICE, KPD to get it. Why on gods green earth if you had any sort evidence would you withhold it or make it difficult for me especially if it absolves your company from a possible theft? At this point I started to lose my cool and had to hang up. Shocked that they would take such a hard stance if they have evidence. Regardless if Travis Beeler took my cat or let him out he is gone from my home and I’m going to have to use TAX PAYER FUNDED RESOURCES (you know the ones WE ALL PAY FOR) and attorneys to actually get to to the bottom of what happened. I think this is one of the saddest/pettiest situations I have ever had the displeasure of being involved in. To claim to have evidence yet withhold it something just doesn’t add up at all. I would love for this to be a misunderstanding but the cards they dealt me are saying otherwise. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to me I would be more than happy to tell this story to anyone who wants to hear it. if your in the FTN city area and see my cat. He is a black long haired Manx (no tail no nub)pretty rare for the area. We just want him home and safe regardless if he was stolen or let out."

Raccoon control services FAQs

A standard pest inspection takes between 30 and 60 minutes to complete. The inspector needs time to examine your home's interior spaces, crawl spaces, basement, attic, and exterior perimeter. For larger properties or homes with limited accessibility to certain areas, the inspection might require additional time. Having areas cleared and accessible before the inspector arrives can help ensure a thorough and efficient evaluation.

Payment responsibility varies by region and real estate market conditions. The buyer covers pest inspection costs in many transactions to protect their investment and satisfy lender requirements. However, in competitive markets, sellers might offer to pay for inspections to make their property more attractive. The final arrangement is specified in the purchase agreement, so review this document carefully and discuss options with your real estate agent.

To prepare for a comprehensive inspection, make sure the inspector can access all areas of your home. This includes noting any signs of pests you've observed, removing obstacles blocking access to attics, basements, crawl spaces, and plumbing areas, and keeping children and pets away from inspected areas. Clear away clutter from perimeter walls and ensure the inspector can easily access your home's foundation, both inside and outside.

While related, these inspections serve different purposes. A general pest inspection examines your property for evidence of various pests, including rodents, insects, and other unwanted creatures. A termite inspection specifically focuses on wood-destroying organisms like termites and carpenter ants. Some inspections, like the Wood-Destroying Organisms (WDO) inspection, specifically target termites and similar pests. If termites are a particular concern in your area, you should request the cost of a termite inspection rather than a general pest assessment.
