"In a panic I paid Adcock's $95 just for an inspection. They confirmed that there were probably raccoons (I don't think they actually saw any). They quoted a high cost to set up traps and prevent any animals from entering through the openings to the basement. I then called another trapper that was recommended who did a FREE inspection and did not find any raccoons or signs of any having been there. For a much more reasonable price he placed traps that would catch any animals that might be in the house (none were caught) and also from outside. I have never heard any noises in my basement ceiling again, so I believe there were certainly never any raccoons; I might have been hearing mice, which I did have. I used an exterminator to control those."

"We were very impressed with Veteran Pest & Wildlife. We called them because we heard sounds of a raccoon in our attic; we spoke first with the owner, Morgan, who asked a few questions about what we heard/saw, and sent Jonathan within just a couple of days to have a closer look. Jonathan took photos in the attic, discussed those with Morgan, confirmed their "diagnosis" that the suspect was probably a raccoon, and installed a trap; at the same time, he also installed a few mouse/rat feeding stations around the house because we had had some problems before on our very wooded lot.
