"We hired Smith Handyman Service (SHS( to install a new roof and gutters. We worked with their team to talk about roofing options, quality of materials, installation standards, etc., and the SHS team was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They gave us a fair and competitive bid and addressed all our concerns. As they were removing the old roof shingles near our dormer windows, they found a problem and immediately alerted us to it, carefully showing us exactly how the previous trim had been installed incorrectly, and we were able to see where water had been leaking in over the years. We worked with SHS to come up with the best option and ultimately decided on new shake siding for the dormer windows. Within 1 day of finding the problem, SHS was able to acquire the shakes we selected and had a crew onsite to do the install to take advantage of the nice weather. Now- the roof is done and it's beautiful, the dormers look like new with shake siding, and our family feels safe and secure from the weather - and proud to look at the house when we drive up. "Our first project with this company was awesome, which is why we hired them for this job at the end of March. They did tell us that it might take 2 months to start, however at the beginning of May, they contacted us and told us they were going to start sooner. When a week went by, we checked on the status and no response. Another week and no response. Then we received a call saying they would be starting in a week. Finally on June 23 they began the project. Took them two weeks to get it done, after many attempts at trying to change the plan that we had come up with. Also in the process, the end of our driveway was cracked by a cement truck which the owner promised us two weeks ago would be fixed and Gene, the project manager, told my husband on Friday July 16th (after my husband called to check on the status ..again no calls from Green Home) that he would be over the following week to fix the driveway and guess what??? NO SHOW AND NO CALLS. My husband called and left a message for the owner this morning first thing and as of 11:00 a.m., still no phone call back. I don't know what happened to this company from February until now, but it is our intention to not ever use them or recommend them again. They do not stay in touch to give you a status. They do not return calls but they are "johnny on the spot" when it comes to being paid."

"Eric and his team put in new vinyl windows replacing the originals. Put in a new front door. Quality work. Reasonable price. He showed up as promised and worked every day until finished. Eric is great to work with. Honest as they come."

"I called Model Construction and left a message for the owner, Kent, to call me.  That afternoon he promptly called and scheduled a time to come by and submit an estimate.  While I was at work, the day scheduled for the estimate, Kent stopped by and quickly e-mailed an estimate.  After deciding the estimate was fair I e-mailed a response and told Kent to go ahead and schedule the job.  He  gave me a two day window with the dates he would have his crew available to do the job.  He asked for a deposit with an agreement to pay the rest at time of completion.  I asked Kent to meet with me and I would give him the deposit in person.  He had no problem doing that and we met, signed the paperwork and I gave him a check.  I left for work the next day and while I was away Kent had his crew install the new roof.  When I arrived home that afternoon the only evidence that anyone had been there was my new roof.  Very good job matching shingles and cleaning up after the job.  Less than a week later we had major rain showers and there were no signs of any leaks.
