"This was a pretty big job that required earth moving equipment, removal of some clay soil and dump truck load of soil. Jose and his team did a great job. They worked very hard for a week straight. You can tell Jose takes pride in his work. The new sod looks great almost a month later after lots of watering. Jose also installed a split rail fence which came out fantastic. Some neighbors commented on how hard Jose and team worked and were very complimentary of the results - one neighbor plans to call Jose. I would definitely recommend JS Landscaping to anyone looking for personalized, friendly service. Will be calling Jose again."

Once we settled on Baumann's Landscaping as our contractor, we called Rick and the crew were out the next morning promptly at 9am. We were expecting two days of work to clear the brush, but they completed the job in 4 hours. The crew went above and beyond, killing vines choking our trees, mulching all the deadfall, and pushing the brush line all the way back beyond the trees (we live on Maryland wetlands). We had 10 yards of mulch and three yards of Leafgrow delivered that morning and by the end of the day our flower beds were all edged and mulched, the lawn was aerated and has a top "dressing" of three yards of Leafgrow and the place looks fantastic. This was a long day for these guys -- finished up at about 6PM but wow I was super impressed. Mr. Lemus is friendly and very accommodating. His crew is polite and very respectful -- always yes, sir or yes ma'am. Really, I'd recommend them to anyone. The name says it all -- quality work at reasonable prices. Love these guys!"

"Jake called me the day after I purchased the special to set up a day/time. He and his crew of 2 others were able to come a day earlier than expected because the weather cooperated. It was lovely surprise to come home to a leaf free yard (front, back, and side) as they were finishing up! Mark, the crew supervisor, made sure that I was pleased with their work before paying the balance of the cost. He provided some ideas for landscaping my side yard which was overgrown with weeds, leaves, and stray ivy. Overall, they did a fantastic job in a professional manner. "We obtained several opinions and quotes, and decided to go with Mark and his team because they provided several solutions for the issue: 1) Install pipe underground that connected our sump pump output to a pop-up at the bottom of the yard, so that water from the sump pump could no longer saturate the lawn 2) plant topsoil and grass, so that the water had a place to go instead of just washing the mud down the hill, and 3) redo the concrete step at the base of our walkway with a gradient so that water would no longer collect there. All three solutions worked. We have since had two storms and our walkway has remained puddle and mud-free. Furthermore, Mark was very professional. Proactive communication, arrived on-time as expected. Called before he came by. Mark proved to be trustworthy, and followed-through on everything he said he would do.
