"While the start date of getting a new roof put on slid due to weather, the G&G crew started the roof tear-off on time. They were very thorough about what needed to be repaired. I met with the project manager, Jimmy O., onsite and he explained all that needed to be done and the associated costs. The crew had the roof dried in on day 1. The shingles were delivered in the afternoon on day 2 and the crew finished installing the shingles on day 3. The roof looks great and they left the yard with very little evidence that they had been there. I would not hesitate to use G&G again. Just understand that due to the amount of work they have and wrestling with the weather, the lead time from signing the contract to job completion can be awhile (mine took about 20 weeks but as good as they are, G&G can't control the weather!). I would rather have a quality job done right and it take longer to complete than to have an interior result."

"From start to finish, Wiedmann Roofing did an amazing job of replacing a new roof on our home. While replacing our soffits and fascia (different project), the contractors discovered that there was a significant amount of deterioration in some of the roof frame, which would have to be replaced before they could complete the job. Joe B gave me a detailed scope of work that showed exactly what I would be getting, including Tamko Titan 160 mph Shingles (39 squares), new drip edges, new goosenecks and ventilation stacks, peel and stick underlayment, replacement fascia wood and plywood, and of new valley metal--all top-of-the-line stuff. He was able to schedule the start date within two weeks of contract signing. Work began right on time and was done quickly and professionally in about three days. There was a fair amount of wear and tear to a lot of the underlying plywood, which requited replacing, but this did not slow down the installation crew at all. Daily clean up was meticulous. The bottom line is that Wiedmann stepped up to help us out of a jam, came through with a superlatively-engineered solution and gave us a remarkably fair price (significantly less than all of the estimates that we had received from some other roofers). During the entire process, communication was effortless. I ask a lot of annoying questions and they answered all of them patiently and clearly. Joe A was a fountain of information on design and installation and Emily offered tremendous assistance in dealing with permits and inspections. ""They can do it one day" and it took three. Some minute details were a little sloppy (crooked trim, messy caulking) and I was told they couldn't be fixed. One major problem was fixed - our house leans, which I told the Project Manager, and the workers noticed it, but they used a level to put up the siding, which is correct protocol, but it ended up looking crooked because of the leaning house. After I complained, they did redo it, with some objection, but it ended up looking a whole lot better."
