"After 30 years in our home, our kitchen needed some updates. Our original cabinets were solid wood/custom made to the kitchen, so we were hesitate to simply discard them. We opted for wood veneer reface, new quartz countertops, porcelain farm sink and new tile backsplash. The results are amazing. Our installers/carpenters - John B. and Bobby did a truly amazing job refacing the cabinets, installing the sink and all the doors/drawers. I especially appreciated their attention to detail on all the trim. Our space is complicated, and they addressed it all - with skill and great attitudes. The new kitchen is just beautiful. They did a great job."

"My husband and I recently decided to do some upgrading in our home before we put our home on the market. The kitchen wasn't in bad shape, just needed a little bit of updating (our house was built in 2008 and the kitchen was a little too dark for
modern tastes). I found New Look Refacing and More online and what their work product looked really clean and appealing (I viewed their portfolio).
When I called, I spoke with Marva, who I immediately connected with- like I picked up the phone to talk to an old friend. Marva wasn't pushy at all, asked great questions about our budget and if we were ready to move forward immediately- I didn't feel pressured at all to go with them for our kitchen job. I had asked for a price estimate over the phone and she quoted me a range that I was very happy with (we had multiple estimated given to us but New Look Refacing's quote was well within our budget and none of the other estimates even came close)! I was a little concerned that New look was such a new company but Marva told me that her sales and installation teams have years and years of experience. New Look might be a new company on paper but in the home, where it counts, they are seasoned professionals.
New Look?s?complimentary? in-home consultation was equally impressive. Sales Consultant Jim answered all my questions with professionalism and courtesy. He helped with recommendations throughout the entire process. When I told him we needed some time to think things over he didn?t try any high pressure sales tactics. He politely asked when he could call us back. We had already talked to three (3) other companies by the time we met with New Look Refacing. Jim was the only one that didn?t try to twist our arm to get us to sign a contract. I had told Jim he could call us back in a week. I called him back the next day.
I have to say that the entire process of working with New Look Refacing was amazing. I had expected about 1-2 weeks until we had our new kitchen, but everything only took 5 Days! Marcus was our lead installer and he walked us through every part of
the installation process before we started. He was always on time and did exactly what he said he was going to do. Marcus and his team of assistants have years of background and it showed in the final result.
New Look Refacing's work really speaks for itself- an incredible quality product AND a lifetime transferable warranty that our home buyer will be very happy to take on! New Look Refacing also donates part of our refacing project's cost to charity- it didn't add to the cost of our project. We chose GA Alzheimer's Association as our charity of choice and New Look Refacing donated a portion of our kitchen refacing project's cost to them in our honor. We plan on using New Look Refacing for future projects in our new home and we highly recommend them for their professionalism, cost, and overall courtesy for your home and for you!
Thanks Jim and Marva!"

"I absolutely LOVE my cabinets now. Micah and Yvonne were wonderful to work with and went way above what they were hired to do. Micah even finished installing the new dishwasher since the appliance installer gave up. They were on time, kept me updated on what they were doing and cleaned up each afternoon when they left. The extra touches they completed on the cabinets make them look like new custom cabinets at a fraction of the price. It was nice to hire a company that did exactly what they said they would do and for the price they quoted. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who has cabinets that just need a facelift!!"

"
Mark came out to give me an estimate. He really took the time to walk me through the project and answered all of my questions. Mark and his associates did an outstanding job painting the exterior of my house and staining my deck. The quote was very fair and they delivered an outstanding product and service. My neighbors have all commented how nice the paint job turned out. I will use them again and I have referred Mark and Kimberly painting to my neighbors and friends."

FAQs for cabinets reface projects in Sharpsburg, GA

Absolutely. Refacing returns 65% to 80% of your investment at resale, and you get an updated kitchen right now. Because you’re not paying for new boxes or demo work, the price lands well below complete replacement but still delivers a fresh, custom look that buyers—and you—notice every time you walk in.

To trim costs, start by pricing a high-quality paint or gel stain instead of full refacing—stain alone can be one-third the price of full refacing. Keep existing hinges and pulls if they’re in good shape, and shop sales for sandpaper, primer, and sealer. The sweat equity is real, but so are the savings, and a careful DIY job can still leave your cabinets looking sharp for years to come.

A professional crew needs only three to five days to reface a standard kitchen, although a larger layout or intricate door style may add one to two days. Compare that with the several weeks a full cabinet swap can drag on. In other words, you get your space back fast, often before the paint on the new doors is even fully cured.

Yes, you can replace just the cabinet doors and drawer fronts without covering the cabinet boxes. Cabinet refacing involves installing new doors and drawer fronts while applying veneers to existing cabinet boxes. If you’re satisfied with the condition of your cabinets, swapping doors and drawer fronts reduces labor and materials, saving you time and cost. Always consult a professional to confirm compatibility and ensure a seamless, high-quality finish.

Most cabinet refacing projects do not require removing countertops because professionals can access doors and drawers around existing surfaces. However, if your countertop overhang prevents full access to the cabinet boxes, contractors may need to lift the countertop to install veneers properly temporarily. Discuss this with your refacing specialist during the on-site estimate so you know exactly what the project entails.
