Adam came out on a Saturday morning to meet and give a quote, he was early which was great. I told him what I had in mind after listening to my ideas and taking a few measurements he suggested that we rounded the corners and adding a sitting wall. About 2 weeks later Adam sent me a text saying that his crew would be at my house the following morning at 7am. Adam and his crew arrived promptly at 7am and immediately began work. "On our initial call we set an appointment for the following week for an estimate. The owner showed up right on time and went over everything needed and gave me an instant price, we scheduled for the next available time. The work team showed up when scheduled and began work immediately, they did a thorough job of removing weeds, etc. exactly as requested. Afterward they installed mulch with the best results I've seen, it all looks very professionally done and should prove maintenance free for a good while. "We've worked with a lot of contractors. Outdoor Artisan is the best we've ever worked with. First off, we interviewed many companies for this project. We were amazed at how many didn't show, promised quotes and didn't deliver, had no ideas and asked us to come up with a plan, or were completely overpriced for unimaginative or cookie cutter ideas. We wanted something that was unique, well made, and beautiful. From the outset, it was a pleasure to talk to the owner's wife, Tracey, who was kind, courteous, and responsive. Clive, the owner, came out and listened to our ideas and asked us some critical questions about how we wanted to use our patio. He was extremely thoughtful and didn't rush through the design process. The design he created was absolutely what we wanted and it wasn't "over the top" - or too much for the size and style of our home. They communicated with us every step of the way, from when they were going to first arrive, all the way through final punch list items. The workers were polite and clean. When they finished for the day, everything was washed down, swept up and put away. When we wanted to upgrade some pavers during installation, Clive and his right hand man, Jason, were very helpful with the selection and made adjustments to their orders and schedules to get it done. When they started to lay stone and the color/design didn't work, they didn't just keep going and complete it in a way that we didn't like. They stopped and told us that they didn't like it, we agreed, and changed the color and design. We are so used to contractors that do not do what they say they will do. It was so refreshing to deal with someone who actually cares about their commitments and reputation. Everyone who has seen our patio has been blown away. It is a work of art and a joy to just sit and look at. It has been two years since installation and we have had no problems. Gorgeous in every way. We are now moving. The patio was a huge selling point and allowed us to get a lot more money for our home than other comps in our neighborhood.
