"We hired MG Landscaping and Irrigation to do a large landscaping project around our pool. The project involved removal of many trees and plantings, ornamental grasses, and pool decking to create a new landscape with a retaining wall, new plantings, a fire pit, proper drainage, landscape lighting and pavers where the pool deck was. That project was finished in December 2017 and is simply wonderful. We then asked them to come back and landscape the front of our home, to update the look and remove some difficult species. That project was completed in July, 2018. In fact, during the second project, they noted a few plantings from the first project that failed to take, and replaced those for free without being asked. For both projects, Chris took care of issues and deficiencies with our irrigation system as well. Overall, MG Landscape & Irrigation was awesome. There are not enough superlatives in our vocabulary to express our pleasure with their work. Key points are expertise, experience, addressing unseen issues with irrigation and electrical, design (Chris has a degree in horticulture and landscape design from Purdue), responsiveness, communication, and customer service. The main reason for these projects was to restore the look of our property and eliminate the tiresome, days-long annual event of trimming and clean-up. Today, Chris and one other worker performed the fall clean up in less than 2 hours; simply awesome! We will only go to MG Landscape & Irrigation for my landscape and irrigation needs. "Mr. Stephens and his son-in-law worked winterized my sprinkler system last year and I called them again this year since they were very prompt with service last year and also charged a reasonable price. Unfortunately for me, I waited too long this year and the pipes above ground froze, causing my backflow unit to be damaged. I called them and they were out the next day to repair the backflow unit and winterize the system. They remembered that we had a baby last year so they were careful not to wake anyone up when they came by in the morning to check on the system. This is the kind of service that made me want to pay the guys back by writing a review as they deserve the A grades they have received. We really appreciated our great service. <br />"

"We have been using this company for several years to tend to our irrigation system. While restarting the system this spring the technician missed a rotor that had not retracted entirely after a test run -- it was raining that day. Next morning our lawn mowing company accidentally ran through the rotor. I informed Indy Irrigation of the mishap. It was quite cool and rainy then so we were not intending to use the system for a while. Still, later that week a technician, Jason I believe his name was, stopped by and replaced the head. He was very courteous and nice to talk to. Since the problem had happened right after system activation Indy Irrigation waived the charges which I was appreciative of. (I have never understood why certain companies nickel/dime their customer when they stand to make so much more over the course of a long term relationship.) Once again, a thumbs up to Jason for his customer service skills which I feel are so so important in a company and its representative. If they had told us that the entire system had to be replaced, we would have believed them, but they told us that the damage looked worse than it really was, and in 2 hours, the damaged pipes were replaced and the valve box repaired. The system is working well, and we are very grateful."
