"They were very professional and did a lot more work than I thought they would. Nobody could have done it better. They cleaned up after they were done and left nothing behind. I would definitely hire them again for any welding I need done."

"I've worked with Joe Bergevin and his team on many projects. They have always done a wonderful job and I've only had rave reviews when I have referred him to my clients. Joe and his staff have always been very knowledgeable, on any type of home project. They make sure to explain in full detail every step of the process so that you are 100% satisfied with the final results. I admire their honest and straight forward approach when discussing project possibilities and pricing. A big part of having a successful real estate business, is building a reliable database that you can refer when clients need assistance. JD Bergivin Homes, has been an intricate part of my business and I would recommend them for any custom home or remodel projects."

"I can't really remember the dates he worked at our home, so the above dates are very approximate; also the cost. Very personable and helpful person.  He came all the way from Olympia to Seattle to do the work, unusual for him; was eager to please, and did a responsible and good job throughout, responding to our requests in good spirit.  The best thing he did was to restore and refinish our odd size and in bad condition front door, for a reasonable price, adding pieces where the door was worn and veneer was peeling, then staining the whole thing.  We have had many compliments on his artistic and creative solution to a difficult problem.  He helped us avoid having to replace our beautiful oak door.  We would definitely hire him again!

FAQs for wrought iron fence repair or weld projects in Shelton, WA

Wrought iron fence installation costs $1,200 to $4,200 on average. Your final cost depends on several factors, including the length and height of the fence, the intracity of the ornamental design, and the quality of the materials used. Iron fences cost $7,000 or more to install on the high end. Wrought iron fences are more expensive than fences made using other materials.

Wrought iron railings cost an average of $2,600, including labor and materials. Hiring a professional to install iron railings is crucial to ensure accuracy and safety. The price depends on the type of metal used, installation location, aesthetic elements, and whether you’re installing it indoors or outdoors. Materials include plain black iron, galvanized iron, and ornamental iron.

You should never paint over rusted wrought iron fencing. All this does is mask the underlying issue, as rust can slowly deteriorate the integrity of your iron fence, diminishing its durability and stability. Painting over a rusted fence also causes poor paint adhesion, which can lead to flaking. Be sure to remove rust and smooth the surface before painting.
