Luis came out the next day and had a very clear explanation of what need to be done and the timeframe involved, along with a very fair estimate. "PowerUp Electric did an extensive rewiring of my parent's 1914 home. The wiring was a real mess with a mix old and new wiring. Gabriel, Martin, and Frank were wonderful. We really appreciated their attention to every detail, their follow-up, and expertise! Prior to hiring PowerUp, we had a few other electricians come out to see what was needed, but we did not feel comfortable with their knowledge of how to extensively rewire the home. Frank came out and was very thorough in his evaluation of the current wiring and what was needed to bring the wiring up-to-date. Gabriel worked with us to give us a very competitive price and was extremely accommodating in his working with all the other contractors onsite: pluming, plaster repair, flooring, framers, etc at the same time. We felt that the whole team, Gabriel, Martin, and Frank worked well together and quickly performed all the work needed and helped us make critical decisions with regard to recommended work. At the very end, we had a very old candelabra which had sentimental value which was shorted out. Martin took the candelabra back to the shop and completely fixed it! "We needed a NEMA 14-50 EV charger installed outdoors for an electric car, and got 3 quotes from Angie's List. Based on the 3 bids, it seemed certain we'd need a subpanel breaker box installed as our main breaker box was full and there were no empty slots to assign to the EV charger. However, only Tommy from Fairway offered up a potential solution within the existing breaker box, if they were able to source a hard to find quad breaker. It seemed unlikely, but would save a lot of hours (new box install / wiring under the house) and money. Sure enough, he source the part and made it happen. On top of that, they were professional and easy to work with. Highly recommend!"
