"Very straight forward. Friendly driver pulled up to the front of the house, reversed into the driveway. Came out of the cab, introduced himself, and went through what he was going to do. He took the covers off each of the 3 tanks. He let me know what each one of them was for and how it worked. Saw the type of filter installed in the system and commented it was one of the best ones, due to surface area effectiveness and easy to clean. Each tank was then pumped clean. He washed the filter and reinstalled it and put all the covers back onto each of the tanks. We both walked the mound and checked each cross drain inspection tube. He made a couple of recommendations to keep things maintained, including rinsing the filter once per year. He wrote up the invoice, handed me an information packet that included some coupons and a packet of beneficial bacteria. Job done. Very professional. Very friendly. Very informative. Great price."

"I had to celing boxes replaced with fan rated boxes and 1 fan rehung on one of those boxes. No wiring need to be run and no switch work. Seems expensive for 2 hours of work with only 2 fan boxes of material consumed. I only did it because they were there and I wanted it finished"

Then, when we were billed, instead of a straightforward hourly rate for the actual labor, we were instead charged the difference between what that water heater cost them from the manufacturer and what they sell it for today at retail. What??? This seems very sneaky to me, and I can't believe that even today the hourly rate for plumbers is $220 per hour! Despite arguing about this with the manager over the next several days, no adjustment was ever made to the charge. We were offered warranty coverage, because warranty replacements don't come with new warranties (apparently standard procedure), but that does us no good since we will soon be moving to a different house. <br />"

"The owner of Appleton Drain & Sewer called and asked if he could come earlier than the original appointment time. He asked me questions to be sure of all the problems I was having. He did the repairs and when he was finished he showed me with a camera the work he preformed on the interior of the pipes that were cleaned out and clog free. He cleaned the work area and removed all the tools and machine. I was given the bill when he finished and the amount he quoted me was spot on. No surprises and very reasonable. Since I have owned my home I had 3 other companies that have done the same work. From now on Appleton Drain & Sewer will be the company I will call and I will let my neighbors know what a great job they did."
