Captain's Custom Shop is a family-owned custom cabinet maker and finish carpentry service based in Kingston, WA, serving Kitsap County and the greater Seattle area. We specialize in made-to-order cabinetry, built-ins, millwork, and precision finish carpentry — from kitchen and bath to whole-home trim packages.\nWe're a true design-and-build shop — the craftsman who helps you design your project is the same one who builds and installs it. Every project starts in CAD, so you can see detailed renderings and picture your new space before the first board is ever cut. That design then drives our CNC machinery, cutting every component to the finest tolerances. From there, each piece is assembled and finished by hand — delivering craftsmanship that can't come from a factory. All of our cabinets are Made to Measure, and Built to Brag.

"I loved the work done by Madera LLC. They renovated my entire kitchen. Installed cabinets including custom ones specifically for my needs. They also did all the stain finished trim. Plus a few added special touches. The work was done efficiently and at a reasonable price. Will definitely be contacting for future projects."

"After purchasing an Angie's List Deal, I received the measuring kit in the mail promptly. The template and instructions provided to draw my split table top and each of the leaves were easy to use and understand. I mailed the completed materials and received the table pads very quickly. The table splits in the middle to allow insertion of up to 3 additional leaves. The table also has 2 drop leaves. That's 7 pads. All fit perfectly. I have used them on the table for family parties (not every day) and they're durable and built to last. I keep them in the box they arrived in to protect them when not in use. These are a worthwhile investment."

"I am so pleased with this project. The dates built in desk in my kitchen was turned into a stylish cabinet to hold my new wine fridge, with a custom wine rack surround. The team was great to work with and the result is just what I wanted."

"We worked with Ali (sales manager) and Tony (project manager), who took the time to design a project that made sense for our property and our budget, made a number of suggestions and recommendations and were never pushy or tried to "sell" us on something. The crew really went above and beyond to provide top quality workmanship and overall we were in very good hands. Highly recommended!"

"After some research I contacted Kaci Woodworks. The owner of the company, Hakim Kaci, made an appointment to come to my condo to discuss my plan and to show me his portfolio of previous custom projects that included not only kitchens and bathrooms but beautiful furniture as well. Hakim took my initial ideas and suggested design and finish options. We decided on solid cherry for both pieces. Once we agreed on the project Hakim provided a detailed estimate and schedule within 24 hours. The project was completed on schedule and the results are stunning. The workmanship and attention to detail were amazing the the completed project exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Kaci Woodworks and am planning to have them work on my kitchen in the near future."

"It was very worthwhile to use this service because the decorator answered some critical questions and kept me from making costly mistakes. It is a good place to start and the price was right for what she did. She spent 30 minutes on the phone talking to me but before that she spent a significant amount of time looking over photos and measurements that I submitted to her by email. She put a lot of time into the consult. This service would be great for choosing wall colors, flooring, and fabric for furniture. I will definitely keep her contact information for future projects.

"This was just a very mixed experience. The owner was very responsive, very professional and very nice. We agreed on a price and date. The person in charge of the job was also very professional and very nice when we met to discuss details. I also liked both paint crews that worked in my house. However, when the job was over, I called about paint along the edges of my kitchen cabinets and about a spot in my bathroom that was not done well. The person who came to look at it repaired the spot in the bathroom and said that the kitchen cabinets needed to be caulked and then the person in charge of the job called me to say that they don't do caulking. Well, it was not caulking, it was paint on my cabinets. I have now noticed paint on the woodwork in the rest of the kitchen and in the upstairs hallway. I finally talked to the owner who said that they would come out to fix it, but I did not have time to schedule it at that time. There was also a misunderstanding about painting the woodwork in the living room. I assumed that they would and they didn't. That may have been my being new to hiring people to take care of my house, but they were not very nice when I called about it. Although someone did come and do the trim for free, but left some paint on the wood floor. Then there were just things that happen. I didn't check and the refrigerator ended up being unplugged for 3 days. There is a small dent in my bannister. There is a mark on my new kitchen floor from the refrigerator being moved. Generally they were so nice that I really wanted to be able to give a good recommendation. From the other reviews, my experience seems to have been an anomaly.
