"We had a great experience with On Top Roofing. They returned my call for a quote request within one day and had someone out to give an estimate within a couple of days after that. We obtained several estimates, On Top was the only company that actually climbed up on a ladder to really look at the area of concern and where work needed to be done during the estimate. After we received the quote, the work was done within the scheduled time and completed as agreed. I would definitely consider On Top again for future roofing needs."

Everyone I dealt with from Johnny the roof specialist/salesman, to Katie in the office and to Steve and his install crew were very professional and provided great customer service. I called very late in the year (late Nov) with a leak on a 20 year old roof that was getting towards the end of its life and they went the extra mile to come right out for an assessment and quick repair as that time of year it's usually tough to get a job like that done on short notice. I decide to be proactive and get on their spring schedule for a full replacement and they ended up squeezing me in a few weeks later as weather had cooperated. "I couldn't be more satisfied with the work Doherty Slate Roofing did on our slate roof. Everything--from initial and on-going communication via Liz, to price, to the quality of the work itself, to the friendliness of the workers on site--was excellent! Jason even agreed to come a little outside of their normal service area to respond to my request for a careful inspection and minor repairs where slate tiles were either missing or slightly out of place. And after the inspection and repairs were done, he provided a written report with photos on the condition of our roof (which is excellent), and what we will need to do in the future to maintain its good condition. I'm very pleased that I've found a slate roof specialist that I know I can trust and count on in the future."

"Leo and Ricardo showed up to look at the job on time and they were very professional. They evaluated all the troubled spots and took pictures. They provided a comprehensive quote within a day or two complete with the photos they had taken. I had a few questions on the quote which May in the office tried to answer. Once she was unable to answer some of these questions she had Leo and Ricardo call me. May is very easy to get in touch with but Leo and Ricardo are a little more difficult to reach since they are out in the field all day. Once I approved the quote the were at the house the next day to erect scaffolding. They also were expecting a deposit from me which was never made clear so there was a little confusion there. Our house was built in 1884 so after they started work they discovered the roof was in worse shape then they originally anticipated. They were quick to send photos of the condition of the roof but I was never given a firm price as to what the additional costs would be. They completed work in 3-4 days and clean up was done professionally. The additional work they needed to do was significant and I was never fully made aware of what this was until I received the final bill. I trusted Farina that the price Farina billed me on the additional work was fair. This is based on the other quotes I received from other roofers-all of which seemed either too simplistic of a fix or far too comprehensive and expensive considering the size of the leaks."

"I contacted Kevin the morning after the storm, as soon as we were aware of the problem with our roof. He had a crew at our house that afternoon. They completed the repair efficiently and cleaned up thoroughly. We had some spare shingles left over from when the roof was put on originally, and they were able to save us money by using the materials we had. "Mr. Cook responded promptly to my request for an estimate on my roofing job. He arrived as promised and provided a very thorough and fair estimate for the work requested, which was re-roofing the house, a garage, an addition and a shed, adding a 27' section of gutter to my garage and replacing two skylights in my addition. He was professional and personable, as well as very knowledgeable. The estimate he provided was complete and fair. In addition, he provided a list of homes he had roofed (with shingle colors) so that I could get a good idea of the color in actual lighting conditions. I was very pleased with his interaction and have no doubt as to his capability. Unfortunately, you can only hire one firm and I opted for a different company but you should contact him for an estimate on your job. He is well established and would be competitive."

"LCT did an excellent job. They arrived right on time and had a large number of roofers--7-8 men. They worked quickly and carefully, draping the entire house and making an effort to watch out for plants (though some damage to them is inevitable). James, the salesman, recommended that we install plywood over the entire roof in order to be sure to get all the warranties on our Certainteed shingles. He showed me where they require less than a certain size maximum opening between roofing boards, and also showed me the many places in our attic where there were spaces larger than allowed. That added about $2400 to our quote, but seems like a good investment. They stripped the old roof, installed the plywood carefully over every roofing surface, shingled and cleaned up in one work day. They returned the next day to install a flat rubber roof on our porch, also very well done. While all their work was excellent, we were a bit concerned that many of the laborers traveled in the back of their vans--which had no seats or seatbelts. Nonetheless, the workers reported liking working for this company, and that they were well-treated. Luis, the owner, called us soon after to see if we were happy with the work. Nice work, LCT!"
