"I had to purchase material needed for the repair prior to the guy coming which wasn't ideal since I wasn't 100% sure what was needed but I got it close enough and he took the area apart and patched it up and gave me very clear instructions on what to do to give it the best chance of lasting (second coat of paint and checking the caulking in a few weeks). Very helpful and it turns out that all of the leaking, including what I thought was seeping under the wall, was from this area of rot and we've had no more problems in the 10 months since the repair was done. "I got the initial contract for some light maintenance work but that was interrupted by a flooding of my family room due to a water leak from a broken pipe.   So I extended the existing contract to include the repair of damaged drywall and paneling and the replacement of the previous carpet flooring with a new Pergo laminated flooring instead of carpet.  All work was done professionally and at a reasonable price.  I supplied the materials and Steve supplied the labor.  Due to scheduling conflicts for both Steve and myself the work was not done all in one process but spread over several weeks.  That was not a problem with me. The final product has the room looking as good, or better, then before the water damage occurred.    The final costs far exceeded the original contract work but the amount of work was greatly increased also.   The work I needed to have done initially remains undone but I will hire Ferree's Maintenance to do those projects, as well as several others that I have planned. 
I would not hesitate to hire Ferree's Maintenance again for any project from general maintenance and repair to restoration work. The quality of all work performed was excellent.
