"Very happy with our new windows and sliding door. The price was very reasonable, the installation went perfectly, and everything looks great! All of the employees I encountered were friendly and easy to deal with. No high pressure sales. Highly recommend this company, especially if you are looking to keep costs low. I plan to use them again."

I just moved.  Sellers had replaced all windows except in the basement.  Needed egress for basement bedroom.

Installation dates were changed but they did everything they could to get 4 windows in before new deck was installed.

There was miscommunication on the kind of windows for the downstairs rec room, which was under construction for remodel.  In that room I got 1 slider and 2 double hungs.  Not what I would have wanted if I'd understood.  It was miscommunication, but I told them it would've been helpful if they'd even drawn a picture or pointed out that there would've been two different types of windows in the same room.  We wound up constructing the room so the different windows would not be in the same room...made the storage area larger than intended, but it works.  Initially they said they'd change out the 2 double hungs.  Then they missed a couple appointments when they were to come back and install the 5th window.  At that point, I said, yes, go ahead and replace the 2 double hungs and just make it right.  They said they would but they would charge me full price.  It wasn't worth the aggravation since we

hadn't started putting walls up yet.....and were able to make it work.

Overall, this is a good deal.  I don't regret purchasing or working with them.  Ask lots of questions and make sure you completely understand the order!!  I do think they should've been willing to stand by the original offer and replace the 2 windows.  The expense on their part shouldn't have been more than labor since the windows could've been used on another project.  I would've split the labor cost with them.

One of the missed appointments on the 5th window was due to their supplier being closed Labor Day weekend.  Since I was taking time off work and trying to work around their schedule, more communication and advance notice of the delays would've been helpful.  The entire process just had a few bumps!!

"For such a massive project it went very smoothly.  We are so pleased with J.D. and his crew.  From the time we met J.D. to discuss window options we felt very comfortable about hiring him.  He took the time to give us the do's and don't and in's and out's on replacement windows.  The important thing here is that he wasn't just a salesman.  He was the owner and the lead installer. As soon as we signed the contract we learned that we picked the right guy and company.  We were worried that when they removed the windows and saw some the massive amounts of wood rot damage they would come back and increase their fee.  Not the case, J.D. stated up front that it would all be covered in the original bid.  We did have to replace a couple of boards around a few windows but he was always upfront about it and there were no hidden costs.
We found his crew to be professional and very respectful of our property.  They provided daily clean-up as well.  His slogan of "Fix it Once - Not Twice" was on target.  They measured every cut twice and sometimes three times to make sure it was the right length.  He was always available to answer questions and we found him to be very knowledgeable about the work he performs.  And besides that, he was just a good guy.  I would highly recommend Wood Rot Solutions to any one needing replacement windows and wood rot services.

"Our house was built in 1998 and came with Alenco builder grade windows with only a 10 year warranty. Most of them have gone bad since then so buyer beware on that brand. Kyle was great to work with, quick to respond and did great work on the final install. Our house now has clear windows and I am sure they will work out great.

"Rob arrived within 2 hours of my initial call and quickly assessed broken garage door and provided a free estimate. My garage door opener/springs are 13 years old. Within the 1 day, Rob replaced two overhead torsion springs and installed a LiftMaster (model 3280) 1/2HP Belt Drive garage door opener (w/ all accessories). It took him approximately 2.5 hours to complete the job. His work is flawless, removed and hauled away my old garage door opener and it works perfectly. Rob is an independent and I researched all local vendors, including the cost for me to do this repair myself. He's very flexible; he even offered to install a door opener if I purchased it myself. LiftMaster is only available to contractors and it's higher quality than Chamberlin (parent Co.) and Genie. The quality, quickness and price can't be beat. His competition is almost twice the cost (Raynor Garage Doors) and they will charge you to come to your home and quote an estimate, which they will apply if you choose them for the repair. In summary, Rob knows his trade. He will provide you with an honest and free estimate, which I find rare for this type of repair, uses quality products, and is the most reasonably priced."
