"I dealt with Tim for the price and project details and then Jeff was the man who came out to do the job. The deck had previously been done by a guy who did not know what he was doing so Jeff power washed the entire deck and let it dry for 24 hours, then he sanded the deck and scrubbed it down with denatured alcohol to help remove any remaining paint from before. When the deck was dry, Jeff taped off everything and proceeded to edge everything before he rolled a nice thick layer of paint on the deck. We waited another 24 hours and Jeff returned to apply a nice second coat of paint on the entire deck. Tim and Jeff are very easy to work with and I will most certainly come back to them for future projects."

"I went to Countertops and Cabinets by Design for a qoute on granite countertop and semi-custom cabinets. There was a particular granite slab we liked. They quoted $81 per sq ft for the countertop. We got a quote on the same piece of granite from another granite installer at a price of $55 / sq ft, for the exact same slab! They were $26 per square foot more in price. What a rip-off! Their total price for 62 square feet was $5102. We installed for a price of $3620, for the same granite countertop and installation. We also quoted them for cabinets. They were again the highest priced vendor. We had them quote using KitchenCraft semi-custom cabinets, which is a fairly standard cabinet company used by many vendors. We quoted them against Lowes and still higher priced than the big box stores. Ultimately because was price, we used other Angie's List vendors that were highly recommended but gave better prices. "Ken was great to work with. He was very thorough, responsive and interested in our satisfaction. Everyone came on time, was efficient, and cleaned up afterwards. They were a day early to reinstall the doors after they were painted off-site. We went on vacation immediately after they finished, and Ken followed up quickly to make sure we were satisfied. We were very pleased and would highly recommend them."
