In the end, we covered the loose gravel with a milling base, which looks better and sets me up to pave the driveway in a year or so, when it has appropriately settled. "Our 40-year old driveway was seriously cracked from tree roots and could not be resealed anymore, because the tree roots had caused the driveway to raise up in certain areas. We asked three companies for estimates for having our old asphalt driveway dug up, tree roots shaved down, and widening our driveway a little. We felt most comfortable with IBC, because of Rigo, the owner who seemed to really understand what we wanted. We chose IBC were not disappointed. Every one of the workers who came out were friendly, professional, and very accommodating. They finished the work in two days and did a good job of cleaning up afterwards. We are so happy with the way the driveway looks! Even where they dug up the grass on the side of the driveway to widen it was very neatly done. They took the grass and placed it on a bare spot in the side yard, so now even that looks good. I would definitely use this company again if I needed more work done."
