"I met with Dave (project manager) and we discussed extent of work needed to restore my stone patio after many years of neglect. A key feature of the repair plan was to install a border around the stone patio. Dave also recommended that we pull up most of the lower patio and establish a good base for the stones, and repoint the upper patio where mortar joints were degraded. I decided to go with Daves recommendations and Lopez ( crew supervisor) and his crew did a great job restoring the patio. I am looking forward to pressure washing the stone to bring out the color after the mortar has fully cured. I could not be more pleased with the results!"

We since moved to Northern Virginia, and after getting several quotes from local companies here, we were not feeling a comfort level for the design process and customer care with any of them, as we were spending a good amount of money on a much larger patio, this was a big deal. We were not sure if XtraCare would come to Virginia, but since we had such a great experience, we gave them a call and were thrilled to be able to work with them again! We instantly felt comfortable with the process, and knew we would have a beautiful patio, that would last. They guided us through each step with patience, attention to detail and understood the vision we had for our outdoor living space. We wanted a mixture of textures and ability to have different zones of functionality, including an area for trash storage and deck boxes tucked away, as well as a fire pit and pathways. We are beyond in love with our new outdoor space, and look forward to making many memories entertaining and enjoying it with family and friends. I will add that my parents used them for a small stone landing and some stone retaining walls around their trees and garden beds, and also had a wonderful experience. "Perfect, 2 courteous gentlemen were here for 2 days and redid our front patio that my parents build 16 years ago. Some of the rows of bricks were sinking. They took all the bricks up and repaired the border and laid the bricks back down and the patio looks brand new. It truly looks professional now and the guys were a pleasant to work with."

"On my shared driveway I noticed the concrete culvert was beginning to erode and shift. The crew came when scheduled to repair the culvert. The drainage area needed to be reshaped and have stone added to help with erosion issues. A cement footing was created to help hold up the concrete tubes and than concrete was packed in around the tubes help hold them in place. The job took several days to complete. I am very satisfied with the overall work. There was a lot of work put in to make the finished job look good and it does look good. I am giving a B for quality because the trucks they parked on my yard left large ruts in my yard. I watched the workers kick leaves over the ruts to hide them. When I complained they sent some one back to fix the ruts. That some one came back and with his foot kicked the top of ruts off, jumped back in the truck and left. I still have ruts that I will fix with my shovel and rake in spring. Such a shame. I will defiantly use them again in the future."

"Alves is a highly professional company in every respect. They totally renovated an old patio and stone wall and stone walkway plus constructed a new wall. The workmanship is superior, the customer service and communication perfect, the price extremely reasonable. The workers were very courteous and paid special attention to surrounding gardens and lawn to minimize any damage. I cannot say enough positive about this company. We are hiring them also to do landscaping work."
