"He wanted to know how much money I wanted to spend and sort of telling me how much it was going to cost. He tried to up-sell me but he never did give me an estimate for what I wanted. The cost of doing the job is what the cost of doing the job is and that shouldn't be dependent on how much money I have. All they wanted to do was haggle the price with me and tell me that I shouldn't get the concrete repaired but I should get a whole  walk way and he was like, "I can do anything for you and then you can just pay me $1000 a month." I thought it was shady and I didn't like it. However, he did get back to me and if he tries to up-sell me then you've got to give the guy credit for trying to make a dollar. I just didn't like his approach. He wasn't interested in fixing the crack for me. I thought it was a very strange interaction although he is better than some that he did get back to me and was willing to talk to me but it was clear he had something he wanted to do and if I wasn't willing to do that then he wasn't going to do the work."

"I cannot say enough good things about the professionalism and dedication of the entire APEX team assigned to my job. We were having our patio extended and adding a fireplace and sitting wall around much of it. The fireplace was very custom and a real stone veneer applied to fireplace and inside/outside of sitting walls. James, Peter and Juan were very technical in their approach to sizing, leveling and elevation. They worked through some very poor weather conditions to keep a schedule and even drove to West Virginia to pick up some stone supply. The end product was spectacular with top notch workmanship.
