"I cannot say enough good things about Nestor Mejia, the proprietor, of New Vision Painting. I bought a Casita in Thousand Oaks California that needed some TLC. I received quotes from three different businesses and chose Nestor’s company due to his high standards, attention to detail and his integrity. Let me tell you, that I am so happy that I chose Nestor and did not go with the other two companies. We hired Nestor to patch our ceilings and to paint our interior and let me tell you that he performed miracles with our 20 foot high cathedral ceilings and we could not be happier. Another one of the companies asked me why I went with New Vision Painting and it was due to the perfectionism of Nestor. We are so happy with Nestor, that we have talked to him about painting the exterior of our house and we have recommended him to our son and daughter-in-law who need the exterior of their house painted as well. "We hired John and Anytime Painting to paint our exterior garage, doors, as well as concrete steps and front porch. He was great at first, and we selected his crew over other quotes. However, after just a few months, the paint on our front porch and steps is pealing off in patches. We tried contacting him multiple times via direct text as well as through Angi to repair the porch and stairs, and we have not even gotten a response yet after a month of trying. That is not to mention that his crew left at the end of the job with items obviously unfinished, like the trim on an area of the the garage that had been primed but not painted at all in one spot, the lighting fixture they had removed was not put back onto the house, and they had to come back a week later to complete the obvious items. IT seems likely that they only applied 1 coat of paint to the porch and front steps, which was not obvious at the time, but other steps painted with the same paint are fine, so it is the only explanation. Now we are going to have to have the front porch and steps repainted again, after paying him to do the job. I am not typically one to leave negative reviews, and was hoping to resolve this directly, but since he is not responding to us, we don't have a choice, as I would definitely not recommend working with a company that does not complete or stand by their work and then ghosts."

"We have used House Painting, Inc several times over the last few years for interior and exterior painting. Mr. Lee schedules a time to come out for a bid and he is always punctual and pleasant. The painters arrived earlier than their scheduled hour each day which was impressive. The job took four days with most of the work being taping, caulking, sanding and primer. The painters did a really great prep job. They are quiet and constantly working. No loud radio blare, either. There isn’t an errant drop of paint anywhere and all outdoor furniture and plant pots returned to their original location. The trim and the pergola look great and we are very pleased."
