He also gave me the option to totally remove it it but based on his professional opinion, the project seemed to only require replacing a leaking water supply line which was less work to replace. "Ted did an excellent job.  He is very respectful, quality oriented and attentive to your needs.  His pricing was fair, better than the big guys by about 50%.  We had bacteria and uranium in our water.  Ted installed a water softener and UV filter to take care of both of these issues. We also decided we wanted better tasting drinking water so we also had 2 RO filters installed, one in the kitchen and one in an upstairs bathroom. They did a full system review checking to insure all else was in good shape. He was also kind enough to adjust our expansion tank for peak efficiency.
