He did everything from demoing rooms, hanging drywall, painting walls and ceilings, including up the stairs, some plumbing, hanging ceiling fans in a two story house that?s approximately 100 years old. Mr. Gallagher, had reasonable fair prices, was always willing to lend a hand, very well mannered, and most importantly, tried to clean up behind himself. We liked Mr. Gallagher so much a small job grew into almost an entire home project. We were thankful, Mr. Gallagher was trustworthy, patient, and kind. "Initially, I was pleased with the work done...the wait was minimal for them to put me on the schedule. The porch was power washed, repaired, resurfaced and sealed exactly as quoted. They cleaned up nicely too. And the results were like a brand new front step without any evidence that repairs were done. I've had a couple of issues since the work has been done...but the company has been very responsive to my issues. This last time the supervisor personally came and fixed the issues himself. Overall, I am pleased with the repairs to my front porch, and know if there are future issues, they will be resolved."

"Our old house on the Northside of Pittsburgh was in need of an exterior facelift and a new front porch to replace the one that had collapsed. I met with Dave LaBovick of Exceptional Exteriors and we agreed upon a price, which my wife and I found quite reasonable. The work on the vinyl siding began about a week later and took only a half a day to wrap up. The job was done to our complete satisfaction, The before and after is like night and day. Another crew arrived a few days later to do the porch and sidewalk. They began work on a Thursday afternoon and were finished 24 hours later. Once again, we are very happy with the result. In both cases, they removed all debris and left-over building materials associated with the job. We are not only completely satisfied with the work that Exceptional Exteriors did for us, we are looking forward to hiring them again for our next home project."

"It went great. I loved that I did not have to follow him around to make sure he was staying busy and that he NOTICED stuff. (He was the one who noticed the exterior flood light was broken, and the one that offered to replace the porch light cover.) I initially hired him because he was the only handyman I contacted who could make it out in less than a week and I was concerned about the water. I'll hire him again because he does great work and works quickly."

"Dan DePriest came to give an estimate for powerwashing the deck floor and applying a clear sealer. He came on the same day that we called him. He was available to do the powerwashing that day, too, so we agreed to have him start right away. He did an excellent job washing the deck that had stains and winter dirt and green mold. He even washed the deck railing and the barbecue cover. He moved everything off  the deck in order to do the work. After allowing the deck to dry out, he returned three days later to replace the one board and to apply the clear seal to the deck floor. He used a long-handled paint pad to apply the sealer and took his time to cover the deck well. It has never looked better.

"Mike, Alan and the entire crew were very professional and did an excellent job. This project was a Storm damage restoration and remodeling of a 10x 20 feet workshop on my detached garage. A large tree had fallen and crushed the roof and damaged the walls of the shop. It included removing all equipment and storage from the workshop, demolition of the roof and 3 walls, building new walls, framing of the roof over the shop, replacing damaged roof sheathing on the main garage. Also, the entire garage roofing was replaced. 30 x 25 feet. Additionally, a new window was installed and new siding on the shop area as well. The new roof was built with an overhang facia and soffit. A custom workbench was built as well as floor mounted cabinets and a laminate countertop. My small lathe and drill press were remounted on the new workbench. All work was top notch. The workshop also had to be totally rewired with ample receptacles and lighting and a ceiling mounted space heater. Great job and I am pleased and highly recommend Richardson Contracting. Besides doing a great job on the garage workshop, Mike and Alan were extremely helpful in getting the insurance company to cover the cost of the restoration work."

"Gino @ Redline did several repair and upkeep jobs for us, including installing a new kitchen faucet, replacing the ballcock in the toilet tank, installing a new door knob, among other help. He was professional, reliable, courteous, got the jobs done. He even went above and beyond when we had issues with a fridge install (different company): he came back free of charge to help us move our heavy kitchen island to make space for moving the fridge. We offered a tip, but he declined that, too. To top it off, he told us to call him when it's time to move the island back. I highly recommend him."
