"Did excellent outstanding work installed new electrical box installed 15 light fixtures 3 huge ceiling fans replaced light switch with all of the light fixtures also did required rewiring as needed. The foreman Justin very professional gave a very fare estimate in pricing. The three Electrian that actual did the hands on work are more than excellent in their trade. Also the foreman Justin and the three Electrian s (Justin, Ashton & Jarrod ) are veterans as well as a awesome gang of guys. I was pleased to have them in my home they made me feel very comfortable and fun to be with as they worked. Words are not enough to say how much they all cared not only about the job they did which in my words are the best every electrian s anyone could hire! I told them about my pending health issues with cancer and they truly cared.God bless these guys and I would and will hire them again for other projects. "We were so pleased with this company.  I found them on Angies List and sent an inquiry email, and received an almost immediate return phone call to set up an estimate.  Scott came out just a few days later at dusk and set up the lighting that we wanted so we could actually see what it would look like, which was extremely helpful.  He also suggested uplighting a second tree which we hadn't considered, and it was a very good suggestion.  We received an email estimate the next morning, accepted it that day, and the job was done today - just 4 days after accepting the estimate.  The installers were very polite and helpful, and even though they had to dig a very shallow trench in the front yard to run wire to the tree, and across the driveway (between the concrete slabs), nothing is visible.  We also had them install a timer that automatically adjusts itself for changes in sunset times and when we switch to and from daylight savings time, so there is nothing for us to do.  The lights they use contain LED lights which should last 5 years and are very energy efficient.  They also installed a new transformer.
I absolutely love it when I get a prompt response to a request for service or for an estimate.  My dealings with this company started off in a very promising manner and they continued to make us happy throughout.  We would recommend them and would definitely use them again.

"I put my old Victorian house on the market this summer, and it sold in two days!. I must give credit to S.L. Contractors and wonderful job they did remodeling my house. I got their name from Angie’s List four years ago. My first project was the painting of all the exterior windows. I have three floors. They even repainted the rusty grills at my basement windows. That wasn’t a big job, because the jobs kept getting bigger. Then I had my old pantry converted into a powder room. My next project was the biggest one - removing all the knob and tube wiring and then replacing the plaster with drywall and finally adding can lighting. What I love the most is my new kitchen. The kitchen sold the house! It was exactly what I wanted. Mr. Washington, general contractor, over the years has been a source of information about quality construction. He was kind of a design consultant for the remodel job for the kitchen. When discussing the size of the island, he said “No one ever says the island is too big.” He worked with me and was flexible as I selected decorative touches from retail stores and online. My kitchen was a challenge. It had pine wood paneling and the layout didn’t work. Mr. Washington changed the appliance layout. I needed my hallway tiles to match my kitchen floor. Mr. Washington searched and found tiles in Texas that matched perfectly. I had a positive experience with S.L. Contractors."

"The landscaping looks great.  They were friendly and professional.  Sione suggested growing grass on hill side beds instead of mulching.  In the long run this would save us money instead of having to mulch the hill every spring.  In addition, over time the mulch just slides down the hill leaving empty spots in beds.  Also, a few days before they were scheduled to work, a tree was struck by lighting and fell in our backyard. They were able to remove the tree in addition to the scheduled work.  They couldn't finish all the work on the scheduled day due to lighting storms but they came back on July 4th to finish mulching and edging the front yard.

"Our back yard is tiered, and we have been attempting to complete the top tier for two years.  Finally, we decided to get some help.  We called Jim to see about putting rock all over the top portion of the yard between flower beds.  Due to a tricky work schedule, I had to do most the arranging via phone.  Jim was so patient and helpful - he even remained calm when I thought his final payment was lost in the mail!  Every time I tried to contact him, he was there...very easily accessible.  The job itself was an awful one - they had to carry seven yards of gravel up a flight of stairs by bucket!  I couldn't be happier with the outcome.  I won't hesitate to hire Jim for future outdoor projects - great guy!
