I had Bobby the owner)relaced both of my garage door springs 2 months ago Today one of the cables rusted off and broke while the door was closing and it caused the door to become unbalanced and fall on the side. I was pulling out of the garage when it happened I called Bobby at delta garage door to get a repair and he was IMMEDIATELY aggressive and blaming me for what happened. I am not the expert. I had to call a different company in a PANIC and the technician imediately was able to diagnose the issue. He assured me that I did nothing wrong and showed me that the cable was old and rusty. and that it BROKE off. The technician was very helpful. HE told me that it is standard to replace cables when doing a spring replacement because the spring and cables both hold TENSION to the door. Whatever you do, DO NOT call Delta Garage Door!!1"
