"WORST SERVICE ON THE MARKET. THIS COMPANY LEFT MY GRANDMOTHER $14k in DEBT, after recommending top teir gutters. The gutters were NOT needed. Not only did the company install the gutters poorly, they do not work. They do not work because she needs a roof, not new gutters. This horrible company recommended $14k gutters when a ROOF was needed. Now she will have to take down the gutters, and put up a new roof. KICKER - they fell into her garage door and left it damaged/non-functioning. DO NOT ..... I REPEAT ..... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. You can see in the pictures below how gutters should never have been installed on this house. Also can see how they do not work (icicles behind). Imagien $14k for gutters that do not work. RUN from Home Genius. Their response a week later: Ambrose Powell 1:45 PM (53 minutes ago) to Jeff, me, Austin, Victoria Bill, I respect that you are a busy person and that is exactly why I gave you a multitude of options for a scheduled phone call. I too am a busy person and scheduled phone calls with other customers as well as additional meetings when you gave me the agreement of 9:30am. I'm going to be totally honest with the people of Angi- We hired this team to perform a siding job and it originally didn't go well. They pulled down the pre-existing wood shingle siding that was rotted and installed new Siding on the home. When the siding first went up there was a defect that we all couldn't understand. We thought that it wasn't okay to leave it up but tried to see if the warmer weather would cause it to unbuckle. JJP stood by their words even months after the siding had been installed and came back to make the necessary fixes. I appreciate this more than the team knows because too often contractors are not true to what they say. This team is running an honest business that I can truthfully say that I trust. Traditional stucco repair or partially replaces FAQs
Stucco repair can take an hour or two if it's a small crack repair or window caulking job. However, more extensive jobs, such as remediating water damage, patching or replacing large areas, or replacing the siding completely, can take three or four days or more. The time it takes to repair stucco depends on the type and extent of damage.
Stucco that looks or feels damp several days after rain, has discolored patches, soft spots, or other issues, may have moisture problems and need professional repair. You may also find that the drywall inside your home, below windows, feels soft. This indicates moisture behind the stucco, damaging your home's walls from the outside in.
You should inspect your stucco at least twice a year to identify any early signs of damage. Regular evaluations allow you to catch issues such as small cracks, discoloration, or moisture buildup before they escalate into extensive repairs. Consistent monitoring ensures that your home’s exterior remains in top condition, saving money on more costly repairs later.
The process for repairing stucco damage begins with the removal of all loose and crumbling material, followed by a thorough cleaning of the area. After dampening the surface and applying a bonding agent, new stucco is applied in layered coats with sufficient curing time between each layer, and the final texture is matched to the surrounding surface. This method restores both the appearance and protection of your exterior.
