"Working with Dave and his crew was an excellent experience. They provided top notch service and explanation of the process involved. Our garage floor had over 40 years of road salt and chemical from Illinois winters. The floor had a couple of large cracks and a significant area of pitting and wear from the limestone in the concrete being eaten away by the salt. The floor now looks like a masterpiece. "The biggest problem we encountered with Helitech was their customer service/office staff. On the first day we were told the crew would arrive between 8 and 9 AM. We had to call when no one showed up. We were now told that they would not be able to get here until noon. We had specifically arranged our schedule so that we would be home in the AM. A simple phone call and we could have proceeded with our morning plans and been home at noon. They arrived at 2:30PM and left at 3:30PM. The job was done between 12/20 and 12/28/2017 and was completed in the amount of time as discussed. The piering was finished but the restoration of our property had to be put on hold until the weather improved. They still had to patch the concrete patio and put the dirt back in the 16 holes and grade/seed the ground. On 02/27/2018 we called the office to see if we could get on the schedule for the concrete and grading work. They said they would check and call us back. On 03/31/2018 we called again since we did not receive a call back. They wanted to know what still needed to be done. They couldn't find our records. We emailed the Incomplete Job Form to them. Concrete work was scheduled for a week later and was completed. Grading/Seeding still had to wait due to all the rain the region was experiencing. Called on 04/06/2018, 11 AM, to see if we could get the grading scheduled. No answer, left message, no return call. Called on 04/09/2018, 12:03 PM, spoke with Sommer. She will call us back tomorrow. 04/10/2018 3:12 PM Sommer called back to say they could not do the grading due to rain coming in the next couple of days. 04/16/2018 2:25 PM called to see if they could schedule us to do the grading. Left message, no return call. 04/17/2018 10:25 AM called again, spoke with Sommer. She said we would get a call back that day or the next. No return call. Called 04/20/2018 2:35 PM, Sommer said they would be out the next day to grade. They did arrive the next day to do the grading. However, the did not have a tamping tool to tamp down the area where the Air Conditioner was to be move back to. 04/23/2018 called to find out about getting the AC area tamped down. Received return call on 04/24/2018 and were told they would be out on 04/24/2018 to tamp down the ground for AC. Two guys showed up on that day and did a great job getting the ground ready for our AC to be put back in to place. 05/01/2018 When we were meeting with a contractor to discuss a new concrete patio we noticed that two bolts were left sticking out of the ground from the piers. We called Sommer right away and left a message as they would need to be cut down before they could do concrete work which we scheduled for 06/04/2018. On 05/02/2018 Sommer called back and said they would be out to take care of it. On 05/14/2018 we emailed Sommer to remind her that the bolts still needed to be cut down before our scheduled concrete work. 05/15/2018 Sommer emailed back to say she would be calling or emailing us this week with the expected day they would be out. 05/24/2018 emailed Sommer again since we never heard back. 05/29/2018 called Sommer since she never called or emailed again. We were told we were on the schedule for 06/01/2018. 06/01/2018 at 4:20 PM we call since no one had shown up yet. This was Friday afternoon and the concrete work was to begin that following Monday morning. Sommer was not in the office, spoke with Flo and we were told we were not on their schedule, that they could come out sometime next week. We explained that was not acceptable as the concrete work was to begin on Monday. Flo told me she would tell John and he would be in touch. 06/04/2018 Started calling their office at 7 AM. Finally, at 8:38 AM Sommer answered the phone. We were told someone would be out around 10 AM that morning. Someone did show up and cut the bolts. We are satisfied with the work performed. However, dealing with the office staff, mainly Sommer, was extremely frustrating and unpleasant. FYI: We were forced to select either yes or no on would we hire again. We are really undecided but that is not an option. We are selecting yes, however, depending on their office staff at the time, that could change to a no. We did not want to punish the company as a whole due to one bad actor."

"We called Bob to do an estimate on our roof. He explained that he had jobs lined up to be completed before ours, but if we sprang a leak, he would come and tarp it immediately. Fortunately, that didn't happen. As it was July, Bob and his helper showed up quite early in the morning to begin work. Bob explained his work schedule, meaning he would take off in the worst of the afternoon heat and return in the evening to continue. They draped tarps around the house to catch errant nails and shingles as they tore off the old roof. We learned that there are certain detailed tasks that Bob does himself, like flashing around a chimney. He is very particular about the quality of his work which we consider a excellent trait in a workman. The roof was completed in a matter of days and the yard was cleaned up. Our roof looks great and we have had compliments from so many of our neighbors. We will definitely call him again!  <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Ryan Musick and his Fivestone Foundations team were professional from the start. Ryan was accessible and prompt for his appointment to bid the project. He quickly took measurements, explained the capabilities of the system he wanted to install and emailed a bid soon after.  <br /> The project started the day my family and I left for a summer road trip. The Fivestone team arrived early and got right to work. We were doing last minute packing and loading up our car. The guys were polite and friendly and moving quickly on the job. Apparently, my older home has a thin concrete slab which allowed them to move around the perimeter of the basement in less time than they had anticipated. We left town and left them with access to the basement. Ryan kept us updated on progress and completion of the job. I was pleasantly surprised upon my return, at how clean they had left the basement. I had seen the amount of concrete and dust dislodged at the beginning of the project and there was not a trace when I returned.  <br /> It was some time before we had any rain in the St Louis area to test the system and when it did finally arrive, we noticed that a floor drain outside my basement door was clogged with silt. The sump system was not working for this particular exterior drain. I texted a picture to Ryan and he called immediately. He said he would talk to his installers and get back to me. Within the hour, he called back to say that the installer had worried about tying the drain into the sump system and thought that connecting it directly to the sewer line would be a better way to handle the dirt and silt.  <br /> Within 24 hours, another Fivestone Foundation team was at my door to connect the floor drain to the sewer line. That was fantastic response time! Again - they were polite, respectful, moved quickly and cleaned up after themselves.  <br /> I would highly recommend Fivestone to anyone looking to install a basement drain tile and sump system. They are knowledgable, professional and prompt.  <br />"

"<p>We had been having problems with leaks in our sunken living room for quite a while. The leaks started last year and we had PermaSeal come out and do a "repair" which ended up not working. (The amount of water was reduced, but it still kept coming in, even after PermaSeal did a wrap seal of our foundation.) Frustrated, especially after PermaSeal did not guarantee their last job and wanted to charge us 1000s of dollars for a redo, we consulted with our neighbor across the street who had a similar problem that arose right when ours did. They said Safeguard had IDd and fixed their leak issue (same spot as ours) for a third of what PermaSeal charged, so we called Safeguard.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Phil from Safeguard came out very promptly (actually early! He asked permission to come a full 2 hours early if it was convenient for me, and I said yes). He looked at the area where we suspected the leak occurred and commented that PermaSeal (his former employer!) had done a poor job. He also remarked that the leak might not even be a foundation leak, but rather an above-grade leak like a mortar problem or chimney problem that was then dripping down behind the drywall. He conducted a series of tests using water from our hose to see where water might seep in depending on where the water was pointed. He did a "flood" test of the ground near the foundation---no leak. Then he pointed to some spots where there was missing caulk on our chimney seams, and said that the water could be getting in there instead. He had me go inside and look inside the fireplace while he trained the hose on these side seams, and BINGO! That's where the water was getting in. He found the exact leak location when PermaSeal could not (they just "guessed") Phil then said, "Well, we don't fix that since it's above-grade, so I recommend you contact a siding or chimney company to make those repairs. I'm not going to sell you something that won't fix the real problem just to make my commission."</p> <p>Phil spent nearly 2 hours identifying the true source of our water problem, even when it would not benefit him or his company. Very honest and decent guy, and we WILL use this company when we do have a foundation problem. Great!</p> <br />"

"<p>Just wanted to drop a line or two and let you all know how impressed we were with both your workmen and their work.  In today's society, you just don't find companies that really do a great job, they usually just do enough to "get by".<br /> <br /><br /> <br />At times, without their knowledge, I was home and could hear some of the men talking.  Much to my surprise, their language and subject matter were always appropriate.  Don't find that much in the labor force today!  It spoke volumes to me.  When they did speak with us, they were always very kind and informative.<br /> <br /></p> <p>The work that was performed consisted of excavating the dirt to gain access to the footings on both sides of the foundation.  On the inside, they had to bust out the concrete floor and hand dig to the footing in order to install their brackets for the "unified lift system".  After installing the brackets, they attached special hydraulic equipment to the brackets which drove 3" diameter<br /> <br />pipes down to bedrock.  Next, they attached a hydraulic jacking system to each pier location.  Using their special vehicle with a unique hydraulic pumping system they attached hydraulic lines to each location and were able to do a controlled lift.  From what we understand, your company is one of the only ones that can perform this "unified lift".<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />We were taking pictures daily and emailing them out to family and friends who could not believe their eyes!  They started out making our basement look like a bomb went off and when they were done it was swept and looking very nice!<br /> <br /><br /> <br />All this to say that the work done was absolutely astonishing!  We will highly recommend EHM to everyone that we hear may need this type of work completed.<br /> <br /><br /> <br />Thanks so much again.  We were dreading having this work completed, but you all made it so much nicer by your<br /> <br />expertise, kindness, and professionalism.</p> <p>Mike and Cheryl <br /> <br /></p> <br />"
