"We recently had Mega Power Electric Inc install a solar system and panels. The President and provided excellent communication all the way through the process. He even met with us after installation to explain the almost incomprehensible PG&E bill. Although not the least expensive bid, his was competitive and I felt he was as interested in educating me about solar and the various types of panels and inverter systems as he was in selling a system. He demonstrated how the array of panels would meet our energy needs and as opposed to some of the other companies, wasn't selling us more than we needed. "We had majors cracks happen in 2 months and called 3 companies to get foundation measurements taken and yes our house needed pilings due to ground shift and sinking. Ramjack was not the cheapest but they were the most informative, had their own patented pilings, were available for the 100 questions for both Adam and the office, and had videos of how the work was done, what to expect after and everything in between. Adam and BK were available to be onsite through out the work being completed, which was completed by some very happy employees. All my concerns were addressed, they rebuilt part of my fence that was broken due to where a piling needed to go and we are happy!!"

"5 Star service and construction. JT was great to work with from contact to completion. Checked with me everyday to make sure we are satisfied with the job. He also came to the site often. They installed 9 knotty alder doors and trims and a slider. Finished the job in perfect time. The installers were friendly and professional, even though installing these doors and slider in a 1970s built home was a challenge. They came across some rotten wood and some materials that were used with the slider that crumbled when they removed the existing slider. I could not be any happier with the job and timing of the installation. JT and his crew are rock stars! Much gratitude!"

"Ybarra Professional Builders did 2 big plumbing projects on my house and property. Not only did they install a brand-new main water line to replace the old leaking galvanized steel pipe, but they also re-piped my house's plumbing as it was also made from that same rusting out galvanized steel. I also had some other major work done by them at the same time (tree removal and sprinkler repair) but since Home Advisor asked for a specific type of project for this review, I will only review the plumbing projects. Vlad was the project manager for all of these projects. He coordinated all of the sub-contractors' work and got the projects done in a timely manner. There were none of the time issues that I had heard about with other contractors, such as waiting weeks between one phase of a project to get the next one started-after one phase was done, the next phase would begin with no more than a day or two in between. He was very pleasant and very patient with my many questions and concerns and kept me up-to-date with what was happening. The project that I most dreaded, the house plumbing re-piping, was not as bad as I thought it would be, to my great relief. All of the people who I dealt with at Ybarra were pleasant and professional, from the sub-contractors to the office staff. I think the quality of the work performed was very good. In the additional clean-up phase, the holes in the drywall where the plumbing had been re-piped were patched and painted, and the concrete where the driveway had to be cut to replace the main water line was re-poured. This portion of the project was available as an additional cost, but the workmanship was very good. I had heard and read many horror stories about dealing with contractors so working with this group was a pleasant surprise. Thank you, Vlad."

"Herve was excellent in all regards, and especially in being flexible. The leak being repaired turned out to be not only cracked grout, but a patio moisture barrier membrane that had been nailed down(!), and a sliding door, upper story windows and siding that had not been properly installed. And then dry rot to boot. Herve was able to cost-effectively fix all the problems, explaining clearly what would be done, what it would cost, and (when still opening things up) what the unknowns were. He and his workers showed up, kept me informed, and the fees were very fair. I am extremely satisfied with the work, and will hire him again."
