They were respectful of my home, great to work with, and did a fantastic job checking my chimney and gas fireplace to make sure it was safe and in working order. They "reset" the hearth, added the necessary materials, climbed a 30 foot ladder in 20 degree weather to check my chimney and provided a very detailed after-action report along with photos to give to my HOA for repairs. Cannot recommend them enough, all around a very positive experience."

Best Chimney fully agreed and replaced our cap with a poured, cement cap at a very reasonable cost. They also replaced about 70 bricks. After an acid wash they matched almost perfectly. "Craig was very professional from start to finish.  We have a gas fireplace that we haven't used since we purchased our home almost 5 years ago.  We called Craig and made an appointment to come give us and estimate.  He not only gave us an estimate but he gave us a lot of good suggestions on how to make the fireplace look good.  So agreed to have him do the work.  Craig came back after 2 weeks and did the following work.  <br /> 1. He painted the inside of our fireplace black so when the new fireplace doors are installed it will look like a tv screen and it <br />      made  it look darker and nicer. <br /> 2. He removed some of our ceramic logs and replaced them with better ones he had at his shop at no charge.  <br /> 3. He cleaned all the junk stuff that had fallen into our fireplace. <br /> 4. He added new pebbles/fireplace dirt <br /> 5. He rearranged everything that made the fireplace flame look bigger and brighter. <br /> 6. He purchased a door for us that we selected from the brochures he should us at the time he did the estimate.  He installed the <br />     door and showed us how to use it. <br /> 7. "I am a woodworker myself, but decided to hire the job out due to lack of time to do it myself.  So I called Tom based on reviews here.  He's very pleasant, communicates well, and does quality work.  Before the job, he pointed out a couple areas where the joints might not turn out perfect (e.g. curved corners).  All I can say is that Tom is fussier than I am, and the results were better than I had expected, even in the tough areas.  <br /> My only complaint is that he underestimated the duration of the installation.  He originally told me 3-4 hours total, but it turned into 10 hours spanning 2 days.  Nevertheless, he completed the work on back-to-back days and didn't leave me hanging until he could find time to finish up. <br /> I would definitely hire him again. <br /> <br />"

They replaced sagging plywood, installed J channel that should have been there, but was not, and did the flashing around the chimney. They covered the landscaping and used magnets to pick up nails. A representative of the company checked the work the day after completion"
