"Ever Dry came in and waterproofed the foundation - installed sump pump and air purifier. They had to dig in the crawl space to lay the drainage for the pump. The job was completed in two days. I was amazed with the service and care they showed for our home and property. I would recommend them to everyone who needs this type of work done."

"He ran into a couple problems which he handled very well. (The old heater tank was filled with sediment that made it extremely heavy and hard to get up the basement steps. The main water valve broke while he was installing the softener.) He stayed after 11 pm. so we could have water for the night. He returned the next day to finish the job. He charged us minimally for his extra work.He was very conscientious and cleaned up the work area extremely well. He told us everything he did and explained how the appliances worked. He made sure we were satisfied."

"I called them on a Friday night when I found I had no running water. He gave me instructions on what to check and I explained I could not do it as it required getting into the well pit. I called my brother-in-law and he did the test then I called Mansfield back. This was all after hours on a Friday night. They arrived about 11 on Saturday and by 1 I had a new pump installed as well as all the electrical switches tested and a possibly faulty one replaced. <br />"

"<p> They were good, punctual, on time, did the work, answered a few questions I had extra and handled the problem, no problem. They replaced the sill cock, and the leak on the water softener and answered general questions about the outside well. </p> <p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /></p> <p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /></p>"

"when tech showed up the dryer seemed to be working and heating however it did not when I called, seemed the heating element was cracked creating and off and on working condition. I went ahead to repair the problem by purchasing a new heating element. I was surprised however that the tech expected me to pay in full before he ordered the part and repaired the problem, but I did using my credit card knowing if there was a issue the credit card co. would have my back, The part was order and Alex fixed it as soon as it came in and was great"

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in South Bend, IN

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
