"I was impressed with Central Jersey Driveways from the first time Mike came over to give me a free estimate! They worked through the NJ Blizzard of 2026 and did an absolutely beautiful job installing pavers in my driveway! The crew was hardworking and experienced. I would recommend Central Jersey Driveways for your next project. I will use them again when I need work done!"

"It went very well, the owner and workers worked diligently to take out the entire old driveway, constructed new Belgium blocks, then paved the Asphalt black tops. the job is well done with nice finishing. I am very happy that I was hiring the right company to do the project."

"Had used another company previously but was looking to change to another company. Found SealPro on this site, and after reading some reviews and checking their site I called and asked a few follow up questions. Satisfied with the answers I retained SealPro. There price was competitive with what I previously paid, but I can't say if the price was high, low or just right since I didn't get other estimates. Had to wait a while for them to schedule me, and that happened only when I called to inquire as to when they might be coming. I was told that due to the amount of rain they were a bit backed up (reasonable answer) and they could actually schedule me in a couple of days. They showed up on time, worked quickly and cleanly, and the driveway looks as good as one could hope for given what sealing does. The few questions I had when they were on site were answered well, and I felt very comfortable with my choice. Just have to manage your expectations because there were a few imperfections and I actually consulted someone I know out of state who explained to me what causes those imperfections, in that sealing is not a resurfacing and imperfections that were there previously sometimes become more noticeable with a fresh application of sealant."

"Our old driveway was cracked, sunken in one corner, needed total regrading, Rick gave us an estimate and a plan of exactly what would be done with a diagram. After seeing the initial regrading (prior to pouring the asphalt), we decided to expand one side and refine the curve on the other side. This was done exactly as we described. We are very pleased with the results. Initially the price of $6073. was quoted for an area of about 1989 feet. We added additional area to the job and the final cost was $7000.00"

"This team was GREAT!!! "Guy" who does the estimates was friendly and helpful with the driveway design as it was large and curved in some areas Pricing was competitive They came and did the initial work quickly and properly. My drive way is VERY level which makes draining a bit difficult given the landscaping to the left and right. John the owner came to check it out before prep work was done. When they dd final paving is was perfect. John the owner ran the equipment. Crew was friendly and very careful around my landscaping. Drainage is perfect and the quality very nice. I am renovating my home and can't get contractors and Architects to respond. So having a team like this return phone calls, come in and do a good job, on time and perfect, is really nice to experience. If only they did renovations.... :)"

FAQs for asphalt paving installation projects in South-brunswick, NJ

Most driveways wrap up in roughly a week. Allow two to three days for installation, followed by an additional two to three days for the surface to cure. Concrete and asphalt follow this timeline, whereas a gravel job often finishes more quickly. Laying out the schedule upfront makes it easier to plan your week and your budget.

Sealer prevents water, salt, and UV rays from damaging the surface. Apply a fresh coat every one to three years, and you’ll slow down the growth of cracks, avoid pricey repairs, and keep the driveway looking sharp. A local professional can handle the job efficiently and ensure even coverage.

Material is the significant driver when it comes to the lifespan of a driveway. Asphalt stays strong for about 20 years, concrete lasts 30 to 40 years, and paver stones can last 50 to 100 years because you can swap out damaged bricks. With regular top-ups, a gravel drive can also reach the century mark. Knowing these timelines helps you map out long-term maintenance and replacement costs.

Repaving strips everything down and starts fresh, letting you change the layout or improve drainage before pouring new material. Resurfacing, on the other hand, adds a top layer over a solid base, giving you a facelift without the need for a complete demolition. Go with repaving when the base is failing; choose resurfacing when the structure is sound and you just need a new surface.
