"The masonry tuckpointing and chimney crown repair seemed to go reasonable. Work was done ahead of having a new roof put on. The initial person indicated problems with the lead flashing, but the estimate left it out. When pressed, Brickliners said the "roofers would do it", but that became obvious later that it was masonry work, not roofing work. The roofers noticed damage to the flashing not apparent before Brickliners came. Now in discussion with Brickliners on this issue. The roofer also noted that in his experience Brickliners uses outside contractors; they don't do the work themselves. Hence the roofer would not recommend them. We feel like we have had the "run around" from Brickliners with charges that are not necessarily reasonable and issues not addressed."

"We received a written estimate and a description of the scope of the work. We were advised to go to a stone and masonry yard to pick out the blocks and pavers that we liked best. "My wife and I wanted new hard woods in our house but had very specific requirements that we could not typically find locally.  My wife wanted a dark floor while I wanted extreme durability in a natural hard wood.  We did our homework and decided that Brazilian Walnut (Ipe) most closely matched what we wanted.  <br /> After looking locally for something that fit the bill, the flooring we found was either over $12 sq/ft (too expensive) or not dark enough.  I started searching on-line and ran across Brazilian Direct.  Their prices seemed reasonable (a bit over $6 sq/ft for what we wanted) and they even had a tinted (dark) version of the floor we liked. <br /> After several weeks of questions and further research, we decided to place an order.  We we worked with a representative named Sannon who helped us every step of the way.  She sent us samples, instructions, guides - everything to make us more comfortable about our eventual order.  Our order came right on schedule and the wood was really beautiful.  After several weeks of the required acclimation we had a local installer put the floor down.  They did an excellent job and we really love our floor.  There was very little waste and in fact we had at least 3 boxes left over. <br /> I highly recommend Brazilian Direct.  We are considering using them again for a deck project we'd like to do in the future. <br />"

"I have used several Granite Gold products and like their effectiveness because they do what they are supposed to do. No strong fumes or irritating skin problems. The granite counter top daily cleaner and polish are so easy to use (spay it on and wipe with a paper towel) to keep all your stone products clean and shiny. I was surprised to see how effective the grout cleaner is. I sprayed it on some dirty tire floors in the bathroom and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then I went over it with the scrub brush they provide. It looked clean then, but when it dried, it was much brighter. This is a 40 Year old bathroom tile floor pictured. Granite Gold also provides excellent professional support."
