"We had a leak in our roof that for years I'd been trying to figure out from where it was coming. Water is tricky because where you're seeing it doesn't mean that's the source ("water finds a way"). Finally decided to call in an expert and Adam Vaillancourt Roofing was the first company that was listed in a Google search. The first thing I noticed was the company's consistently high customer satisfaction results (at least 4.5 stars). Customer service is very important to me when doing any work to our home, which is our biggest investment. I called and spoke with Cat Vaillancourt to set up an appointment. We met with sales rep Jose Luna, who conducted a thorough inspection and found the leak easily. His presentation about the company and how they do their work was impressive and Jose was very professional. The meeting included a video that Jose shot while on our roof in which he explained not just the issues that were found but WHY the work was needed. He patiently answered all our questions and never pressured us into agreeing to anything. It's our money, it's our decision, he said. After meeting with Jose, we didn't hesitate to sign a contract immediately to get the work done. One of the biggest factors in signing was that the folks who do the work are company employees, not contractors. Fast forward a few weeks later and Paul Camarro and his crew showed up at the house on time and ready to work. When they were done, Paul showed us photos of the completed repair work, so I knew they delivered as promised. Jose is in the process of making a follow-up appointment so that he can inspect the job and make sure that we are completely satisfied. From Cat Vaillancourt and Mary Kay Macfarlane in the office to Jose to Paul, every person we dealt with at Vaillancourt was fantastic and professional. "On Top Roofing was great. Tim came to quote the work and asked what I wanted and offered excellent suggestions. He wanted to vent two bathroom fans out through the roof to reduce the moisture buildup in the attic. No other roofer even mentioned it. He also wanted to replace all drip edges and re-led the chimney. Several others wanted to reuse the exiting drip edges and led. Given all that his price was still very good. The job took two days. His crew was efficient and the roof looks great. There was a supervisor (Mike) on the job the entire time who ensured everything went well. They had one guy who did nothing but clean up constantly. So the yard and surrounding area was always clean. When they left they swept, rakes and picked up everything. Very professional and courteous team in the field and in the office (thanks Kelsey). All this and a 10 year workmanship warranty!!!"

"Putting a roof on can be a stressful process, never mind an expensive project. While Waterman was not the cheapest contractor I interviewed, they took the time to go over all aspects of the job, in detail, inspected attic and suggested moving the vents to the roof instead of the side of the house for better ventilation of the bathrooms and dryer. They also performed minor wood repair on the trim, using PVC boards instead of wood. Perfect fit and finish. Rerouted some of the downspouts as well. They registered the warranty with the roofing manufacturer as well. Very efficient installation. Crew worked well and fast without appearing to actually rush. They were just very efficient with their time and skill. There was a company rep there all day to keep the project on track. Only downside is, they were very busy, and our install date ended up being a bit longer than we expected. When the day came, they did a great job. The cleanup, the worst part of any roofing job, was done very well. We did, since the job, find a few nails on the ground. However, overall, the property was well respected and not damaged otherwise."

"I couldn't be more satisfied with the work Doherty Slate Roofing did on our slate roof. Everything--from initial and on-going communication via Liz, to price, to the quality of the work itself, to the friendliness of the workers on site--was excellent! Jason even agreed to come a little outside of their normal service area to respond to my request for a careful inspection and minor repairs where slate tiles were either missing or slightly out of place. And after the inspection and repairs were done, he provided a written report with photos on the condition of our roof (which is excellent), and what we will need to do in the future to maintain its good condition.
