We set up a day/ time to meet. From the moment I met him, there was not a doubt in my mind that he was the one for the job. For a young person, I was beyond impressed with his work ethic. He is so motivated and so driven to be not just a successful businessman man, but a wonderful provider for his family. Zachary had sent me an estimate within hours of our meeting. His price was quite reasonable. He was there when he told me he could start the job. I had actually just poured my Saturday morning coffee and looked out the window to see that he was already hard at work. I recently had him back to my house a few days ago. We brainstormed ideas on putting a patio in my backyard. I was quite impressed with his ideas and creativity. I truly can not recommend Zachary enough! You will not be disappointed!"

"He used bead board only on the front of the island, although we had discussed using it on three sides.  I asked him to finish it the way it was written out on the estimate.  He had to purchase more bead board and then re-do the bead board work already done.
For the counter top, Dan used 1/2" plywood that warped overnight so he had to install a heavier duty plywood the next day.   As requested, he painted the top black, but he also went ahead and painted black the two columns that run to the ceiling.  I had him re-paint the columns back to the original white.  He did not finish off the edges, but rather used a router to give it the "finished look".  He said half-round or a bull-nose finish would not work with regular usage.  As a finish coat, he used a spray can lacquer.  I was not pleased that he used the spray can in the house, but he said he did it "all the time" without problem.  The next day I had particulate residue all over my furniture, floors, television, window blinds, etc.  I spent a good amount of time dusting and cleaning the room.  The surface of the counter top was streaky, with swipe marks on it; an unattractive surface.   The base molding work was fine.  No comments there. I contacted Dan the next day to let him know how the lacquer particulate residue had settled on the furniture and how the counter top surface was streaky and smudged. 
2/21/12 Update:  Dan returned to address the counter top surface. He sanded and repainted the top with another coat of black paint and returned again later the same day to apply a lacquer coat.  This time around he used a roller to apply the lacquer.  The surface dried smoothly without streaks."

"My wife liked his style and professionalism so much she also ordered a gate for the windows (bars). I thought that would look horrible. But he is such an artist. This is a original creative design that he came up with (modifed a gate design, to add more detail). I think you will agree this guy is extremely talented. He also did not mind when we told him to come back with more paint on the rails and window bars. Greatly appreciated.

"Amazing. Jeremy was a lifesaver. My only regret is that it took me several months to log into Angie's list to write him the review he deserves. We live in Arizona and only had 1 month to spend in MA getting our house ready to put on the market. My husband planned to install new baseboards throughout the house, in addition to a long list of things we needed to improve or repair. Everything took way too long, and we realized we needed a massive amount of help finishing the baseboards and other items on time. Jeremy and his coworker (Adam I think?) came in and worked hard finishing the baseboards which was a lot of work. I ended up having Jeremy build this awesome fireplace mantel too that my husband was planning on doing, but we realized Jeremy would do a better job. I gave him a picture of a fireplace mantel we found online and he built it. He did tons of other stuff as well. We had a clock ticking to have the house ready for the open house, and he worked tirelessly, even coming one evening and working until around midnight on a day when another job prevented him from making it during the day. I cannot recommend him enough. When we initially arrived at our house at the start of our 1 month stay, we hired another handyman from Angie's list that we were so unhappy with. He was lazy, argumentative, and his work was horrible quality. He charged us $50/hour. We decided not to give him any more work after the first few days. Jeremy was the absolute opposite. High quality work, great attitude, helpful, great ideas, and all for the same price of $50/hour. He was truly amazing. I included before and after pictures of the fireplace, as well as before and after pictures of one section of baseboards in the basement that he did."
