"Mr. Cook responded promptly to my request for an estimate on my roofing job. He arrived as promised and provided a very thorough and fair estimate for the work requested, which was re-roofing the house, a garage, an addition and a shed, adding a 27' section of gutter to my garage and replacing two skylights in my addition. He was professional and personable, as well as very knowledgeable. The estimate he provided was complete and fair. In addition, he provided a list of homes he had roofed (with shingle colors) so that I could get a good idea of the color in actual lighting conditions. I was very pleased with his interaction and have no doubt as to his capability. "Fredy and Andrea at Global Roofing combine to provide excellent customer service with high quality installation. From quote to complete the entire process was smooth. We were looking at metal roofing first and learned quickly that these folks know a lot about the options, potential issues and installation. Ultimately we went with CertainTeed asphalt shingles due to supply chain price increases for metal, a limited color selection, and because I tend to walk on my roof for a few reasons. On the 1st scheduled day the crew arrived on time and ready to work. They hung tarps and netting to collect all debris and protect shrubs , etc. They moved fast and efficiently with a big enough crew to clear old shingles and start installing new by mid-afternoon. At the end of the day they cleaned everything up, and I do mean everything. By end of day two they were done, once again cleaning everything before leaving. We were very impressed with Global and definitely recommend them for your roofing project."

"I had a jug of the recommended product, which Mr. Dexter used to spray the entire roof--not just the bad sections. He expertly corrected a downspout position to direct rain into main gutter. Two gutter covers were replaced with white-painted, seasoned wood, which were cut to the proper shapes. A deck board was fastened securely. Mr. Dexter plans to return to inspect his roof work. If additional roof treatment is needed, there will be no additional cost for me. [I had contacted 2 other roofing companies, which were recommended by Angie's List. One company did not respond. A 2d company gave a $930 estimate, which did NOT include spraying the roof for moss/algae.]"

"From start to finish Evans did an excellent job. Good communication with patience to answer many questions, quick response time, and willingness to revise quotes with scope changes. Material showed up early on scheduled day of project, and crew showed up for an early start. Team worked hard, was organized and efficient throughout, and the details to put the homeowner at ease were greatly appreciated. This included moving deck furniture further away from house, and completely tarping over wood deck. Site was left very clean after work completed in one day - all materials removed, area was swept, and roof looked great."

At the outset, they made thorough assessments of our family's barn, identifying several problem areas and offering multiple proposals for how best to address each (including strategies and estimates).  They walked through the different proposals with us, addressing all questions and discussing different options.  This was extremely constructive and important to the process. 

They demonstrated very clear understanding of post-and-beam wood construction.  They displayed great expertise in working with wood (white oak, red oak, hemlock) and with the tools, jacks and cribbing needed for this work.  They worked carefully, always putting in place the necessary jacks and cribbing in advance of each phase of this project.

They were clear about their schedule and were very responsible about communicating with us.  If there were a day that they would not be on site, they let us know ahead of time.  With the exception of a snow storm and an illness, they were on site five days a week from the first week in January till the second week in February, 2016.  

By the completion of this project, Colonial Restorations had made significant and important structural repairs to our barn.  This work was done with care, craft, accuracy, and to code.  (All elements of this project were examined and passed by the building inspector.)  Most important, these repairs respected and worked with the existing structure and materials of the barn.

We could not be happier with these repairs or with the work done by Colonial Restorations.  It was a pleasure working with Brad and Tom."

"Did a great Job with roof and helped me with the insurance claim from the storm damage to roof. They are prompt, clean, and super nice. Anything they moved potted plants, my deck furniture , was put back in place with care. They went over yard with a magnet device to get any loose nails , etc that may have fallen in grass."
