"I purchased a new shower faucet and cartridge for the repair. Donny told my wife and I to save on the new faucet and wait till we did some wall/tile repair if we were to remodel in the near future. Rather than following our first wishes he may have saved us around $400, or more by being honest and a good guy. We had the cartridge replaced for our Moen faucet. It operates very well and no drips (bad for the Cat though!). We had additional savings when we returned the faucet to Menards. The cartridge was about $36-$39. We have used Randy Lane several times (maybe 5-7 times) and were quite satisfied. They have been our plumber of choice for several years. This was our first plumbing work completed by Donny. Not our last for sure!"

"He’s been here three or four times since then. He’s actually coming back at the end of January when we’re ready for the finishing. By January, he will be doing the plumbing on our laundry. It’s our first time to use him."

"While we were searching for our dream granite, Paramount was very helpful with giving us a variety of estimates and answering many questions. We visited Many granite installers and Paramount was over and above the most competitively priced and customer-service oriented. "Called another company originally they asked how old the furnace is and I said about 5 yrs. old (it is 6 yrs old). They informed me that I should get a hold of the company that put it in because it should still be under warranty, which after I looked it was. So I called Service Today to set up an appt. to have them look at it. Andrew came out and with various questions asked I said that the thermostat we have is wifi and that is how we run it. Comcast upgraded the wifi in the neighborhood the day before and it was today I woke up and noticed that the thermostat wifi was not connected to the wifi anymore. He looked into it and noticed that when I put it on heat via by phone app or manually by the wall thermostat, it was turning on the A/C instead and visa versa. He came at a price to me of about $350 to run a diagnostic to find the issue. He did and then he comes back and tells me that the thermostat itself is burn out (I bought the thermostat from them when I had the new furnace installed 6 yrs. ago). Andrew goes to his van and of course comes with only 2 thermostats that he has on hand. One is not wifi and it was $350 or so and the other was $800 which was wifi programmable. He did say we could just go and get one from Best Buy or something but we would have to install it. We decided on the lower cost of the 2. As he was installing it I looked up the retail cost for the same exact one he was putting in (Honeywell T4Pro) and it was $75 at Best Buy. I mean really.........that much of a mark up in cost!!! It is like this company does not understand that we are in a pandemic and that money for so many people is really really tight!! To gouge customers like that. As I sat in my office crying about the cost I let myself get washed into, after a while I asked Andrew why such a big cost increase on the thermostat. He said he has nothing to do with the pricing of items, which I understood. Andrew was a nice guy and just doing his job. I put this gouging at the feet of the company because right now, people have to decide to either pay a heating/electric/etc. bill or pay a company a massive cost to have a thermostat put in. Andrew did take down some wires that were for a humidifier that was on the old furnace prior to installing the new one and also cleaned some dust and lint from the furnace. Will I call these guys again, only if I know that there is something wrong with the furnace that is under warranty still, other then that, I cannot afford them. They were better when they were Airtech. The C rating I gave it has more to do with how nice Andrew was then the company. For the company itself, I give it an F"

"Back outside door: After inspecting door, was told I would need to replace door and frame. My brother who had temporarily fixed door suggested an option to which provider agreed and then proceded to hang door to acceptable. It was thought the provider was going to opt out of fix if it was too involved?!... Front door glass payne needed replacement, so i needed to accompany him to hardware store to get fix-okay, I guess, wasn't expecting it, used my time for job. Job completed. I wanted the fan on the living room ceiling fan which stopped rotating to be useful again on relatively unused newer fan. Provider refused. Job not completed!?...TV wall mounts installed on bedroom wall. Provider took me to pick up a wall shelf I wanted hung on kitchen wall but it turned out to be too wide, couldn't be hung without out modification. No options were considered or suggested. Job was not completed. Provider attempted to hang a new bathroom fixture but said it coudn't be done due to previous electrical wiring-was a problem and would need an electrician. Began to scrap living room ceiling and wall water plaster damage but didn't finish, stated I could need a plasterer to replaster. Not sure why he didn't want to finish scraping off rest of ceiling?!
I had this handyman on the other use of this provider for a handyman. Retirment age provider who seems to have skills but doesn't much want to or seem to think he can take on a bigger, harder or more involved job, perhaps with the time of year or tools available to him on their truck?! I would appreciate someone with anitiative rather than someone who clearly seems to prefer to do the smaller jobs. I am not sure if the name on the company and whom I have messaged with on Angies List are one in the same or not, there are two names, a Don and a Daryl. Can't say I recall him ever introducing himself. Rather non talkative, but to me this is a plus, I an not a small-talker; unless I need info or ask questions. I would rather he do the job hired for than chit-chat. Not happy that more than one job was not completed or attempted for the days work, which began at 9am and ended at 3pm due to him stopping the scrapping even though there was more to scrape. I would consider another handyman option for future options and feel that I did not get my moneys worth on either use of this company/provider. The first time this provider showed up an hour late for a 4 hour handyman and only one job was completed.
Response to PROVIDERS Response to Original Review: I JUST MAY TAKE YOU UP ON YOUR CONSIDERATE OFFER; I may be calling the number you provided to complete a task. Thank you very much for the offer! I do appreciate it."

"The guys that work for Cady Handyman were on time and showed up when they said they would. They installed a custom made shower for us that turned out beautiful. We needed it finished before the closing on our house, and they did everything including staying late in order to get it finished."
