They installed a new utility sink, sink pump, and needed piping and valves with tie ins to the main septic. They made improvement above and beyond the initial job breakdown, all the while staying within budget. I will certainly consider them again for any future work. I was told the repair would be $1,500. Although hesitant, I agreed to proceed because I needed heat. The repair was completed, I paid $1,524.90, and the technician left. I later realized I had not been provided with an invoice, so I called the company directly at 781 438 4114. The person who answered the phone emailed me an invoice. The invoice listed an HVAC diagnostic fee of $69.00, followed by ?HYD 170,? with no price or itemized breakdown provided. I understand that professional services and parts can incur significant costs, it is unreasonable that the part alone could account for the entire charge without any supporting documentation. I respectfully requested a detailed breakdown of the invoice through multiple phone calls and emails; however, the responses I received were dismissive and failed "

"Formerly Busy Dog or Basement Technologies and now Groundworks. I have had a terrible experience working with this company over the past two years. For a number of years we have used Busy Dog to manage and service our sump pumps and battery back up which included yearly maintenance. 2 years ago the red alarms were going off continuously and BB refused to come out to see what the issue was. We had called them multiple times. The sump finally failed causing a flood in our finished carpeted basement. They refused to pay my high deductible and took no responsibility for their negligence. They replaced the whole system. Everything was fine until 2 days ago when the sump failed due to an improperly installed PVC pipe which burst, causing another flood in our basement. When I called during this emergency, they said they were now Groundworks and did not respond to emergencies. I never received an email, mail or call stating they were bought out.
