"I contacted M and J roofing about a leak. Lous response was quick and after inspecting my roof responded with urgency. I had many roofs installed over the past several years none of which seem to work due to the pitch. The most recent roof I put on was a metal roof, which was the source of many of the problems. After Lou inspected it he told me what needed to be done and after agreeing on the contract he started immediately. They are prompt and professional and both him and his son Nick are two of the kindest human beings I ever met. They told me they'd be here at 8:00 a.m. and they were here before that, they started at 8:00 and we're done by the end of the day. Lou and Nick kept me posted each step of the way and during the removal of the metal roof they showed me what went wrong and explained why it went wrong. In short it was because of companies or people that install roofs that don't care about their work that care about ripping off unsuspecting customers. That is why in closing I will say M and J roofing should be the only and I am stressing only company anybody should want to do any work on their roof."

"L&L made several visit including Saturday and Sunday to evaluate the job and made several suggestions as to the best way to replace the roof without any damage to the interior of our house.They promised to pick a good day to do the job and complete the job in one day. They arrived at about 7:30 AM with a crew of about 10 workers and had the complete roof replaced and the yard completely cleaned up before 4:30 PM. This included new lead flashing for the chimney and replacing 2 sheets of plywood. In addition they guaranteed the workmanship of the roof for as long as we owned the house. We had no problems at all.

"3 Son’s Siding & Gutters LLC did my roof about four months ago.They came and gave me a price that was more than fair…3 Son’s were very professional,work very safely.They stripped two layers, found that they had to get plywood and replace the whole roof, it was a bit more but they did the plywood, re-shingled the roof in the one day.i was very impressed with the way all the workers did what needed to be done. The job was done in a day and a half,all the mess was picked up went around the house with magnets picking up all the nails.All I can say I believe they are very professional, very concerned about how my property was left I think it was cleaner than when they started.Very good crew did a great job couldn’t be any happier. "Artisan Building & Remodeling was an excellent choice for replacing my wind-damaged shingles. Of the various roofing companies that came out to give estimates, Brandon was the only one who insisted I let him speak to my insurance company on my behalf. He was even present when the insurance inspector came out to look at my roof. I feel I would not have succeeded on my own in negotiating anything with my insurance company. The roofing crew was very efficient in their work. Everyone on the team had a job to do, no time was wasted. Brandon was always thorough with his communications, whether it be by phone, email or text. He was always prompt – more prompt than the insurance inspector. "Roofing its something no home owner ever wants to do, but most have to go through. I won't even lie I wasn't even planning on getting a new roof, but Dale Knocked on my door and thats where the process started. My roof did go through insurance & aside from signing paper work/paying my deductible A1 handled everything. Obviously specific details from the insurance goes to you and then given to A1. Its not a short process and there is paperwork you have to sign, but all In all it did take me about 4 to 5 months where the process was started to roof replacement. Dale handled interactions with showing my the conditions of my roof and how to go about getting it put through the insurance. The only hiccup was that I have solar panels and I did feel like they where taken down to early (almost 5 months off), but I made my concerns known and one of the Managers called me and credited me $500 bucks (100 per month) that the panels where off. They did tell me setbacks in productions and things happen, but made me happy by giving me this credit. Didn't fight me on it, and didn't make me feel like I was just an insurance check on the other end. You can trust A1 home improvement with your home. I would like to thank Dale for his work & all the others that helped me throughout one of the most stressful process there can be for a house."

"The crew of 6 did a great job! Everyone worked as a team from the start of the job until they finished. The job was done in one day stripping two roofs, replacing some plywood and install new roof. The crew did a fine job with the clean up at the end of day."

"I cannot speak highly enough of Tom and Brad Green of Colonial Restorations. We have lived in our antique house for 16 years now, and like most old homes, some of its previous repairs were good, some not so good. Tom Green worked on this house for its previous owners, and his work was, by far, the best in the house. So, we continued to use Colonial - Tom, then Tom and Brad - as we learned the ropes about caring for an old house - our first house, old or new. Over the years, they have replaced sills and posts and beams, and rebuilt parts of our loose stone foundation. Most recently, they replaced the last original posts in our basement, (one of which was a tree trunk still with bark on it), including pouring new custom footings, in advance of our finally cementing the dirt floor. The work here is never easy - nothing is level, nothing is square - but the Greens' end result has always been beautiful - strong and made to last. Their prices are fair and without hidden costs....maybe not the lowest bid you might get, but you know it's a real bid that they will stand behind. They triage projects for us, giving us an idea of what other items will likely need attention in the next few years. We're not done with this house yet....we've never won the lottery, and there's always another repair..... and plan to use them again soon. I feel confident knowing that the next owners of this house, whoever they might be, will see the quality of the work and know that we cared enough to have the right people help us with the ongoing repair and maintenance of a 275+ year old house. I am a real person, a real customer, with no ties to the company, and was more than happy to write this review."

"Fantastic! Dave Brodowski and his crew were professional and friendly. They worked long hours to get the work done. Dave and his crew removed the old shingles, placed a coating on the bare roof, and put down new shingles. They cleaned up multiple times each day. They used a remote cart with an extendable slide. Dave let us know about any issues with the bare roof. The new roof looks fantastic! I would recommend them to anyone."
