"I called Rockland fence to come and repair my backyard gates. The fence was originally installed by West Hartford Fence Company which has subsequently gone out of business. I spoke to Matt at Rockland fence and he agreed to come and take a look. He spent about 20 minutes adjusting the gate and they now open and close smoothly. He refused any payment because he was in the area already. Just a really nice guy who knows what he’s doing. I will certainly call Rockland fence company anytime I have a need for a new fence or repairs. They already have many very positive reviews on this site and I can see why."

"From the moment I met Jose he was professional, following up on the appointment date and time. When I arrived we discussed the details as he took notes on exactly what I wanted. With 15 minutes I had a detailed quote and Jose clearly explained the contracting and payment options. I passed the quote on to my kids who currently do not live in state. Jose answered all their questions and sent photos of the materials they use. Upon contracting, Jose kept in touch with installation details and timing. He was able to start and finish the product much sooner than anticipated. He was present when installation started and proudly introduced his son who owns the business and does the work with helpers. This insured quality control throughout. The installation was done as expected and the project was finished in less than 2 days despite excessive heat conditions. Upon completion detailed photos were sent to me and the home owners. Our expectations were exceeded. This is a company with integrity and pride in their work. Communications were excellent. "The work performed was incredible. AJ and his team are real pros. The cost for all of the work they performed was more than reasonable. AJ came out for an estimate and explained the work he was going to do and gave me options on what different things he could do to help me out. He kept my wife and I in the loop every step of the way during the project. In addition, the crew didn't rush the job. They made sure the job was done right. Before the work was performed our basement would flood very easily when it rained. After the work was performed it rained and the basement was bone dry. This was a huge relief. Not having to mop up water every fifteen minutes was wonderful. Our sump pump doesn't run half as much as it used to. "It is very convenient, and reasonably priced.  The only thing that they could work on is the punctuality of the pick up times.  The rest of the experience was satisfactory.  My daughter has also used them.  I would highly recommend this service."

"Very  nice, but not great workmanship.  Shower faucet/mixing valve installed backward (when you direct it toward "cold"  the water's hot and vice versa).  Ok, could live with that once we figured it out.  But in taking off the valve to figure out the problem, discovered that the (newly installed) pipes were leaking.  They were very apologetic, came out and fixed it  promptly.  Then the drain backed up, because the grout hadn't been vacuumed up.  Not so prompt this time, took one week for anyone to return a phone call.  Four months later, the grout is completely cracked.  Again, one week to respond to a phone call, and now they're "out of the country" and can't come for a week.  The price was right, but I guess you get what you pay for...
