"Quick response for estimate. Once contract signed, tree was taken down about one week later, and stump one week after that. Overall their administration could be improved, as we were not notified in advance for the tree removal until the trucks were almost onsite. Billing follow-up was poor."

"Fantastic - arrived on time - project was completed much faster than I anticipated. Area was left very clean. So happy with the job and workers. I have another project already scheduled for this fall or early spring. Highly recommend this family owned and run company."

"they were wonderful, they came and started on my home the grass and weeds were high and they removed them. And I just wanted to let you know that they are amazing, I explained what I wanted done, they came back to my home and brought me water, and they could not have been any nicer. I would rate higher if I could."

"Trevor and Jeff were extremely efficient and hard workers. One of the log splitters malfunctioned on the first day, and they still completed as much as they could on the first day, and completed the job on the second day, no extra travel fee etc... Everything was left perfect and I didn't have to do a thing. I would definitely hire them again in the future if we take down more trees."

"Adam came to the house gave the estimate and also an estimated time for the work to be completed. He kept in touch with us from our first meeting until the day the tree was to be removed. Adam and his crew showed up exactly as promised. Adam explained the process from start to finish. He is a wonderful representative for this company. You would never know a tree was ever there nor would you know it had just been removed due to the fantastic clean up. What a professional crew!"

FAQs for tree stump removal projects in Southeastern, PA

Always transport chainsaws with the engine off and chain brake engaged. Use the protective bar cover provided by the rental company to prevent accidental contact with the cutting chain. Position the chainsaw securely in your vehicle to prevent movement during transit, ideally in a truck bed or trunk rather than the passenger compartment.

For gas models, ensure the fuel cap is tight and position the saw to minimize potential leakage. Keep the chainsaw away from passengers and other items that could be damaged.

Proper safety equipment is essential when operating any chainsaw. At minimum, you should have eye protection (safety glasses or a face shield), hearing protection (earplugs or earmuffs), cut-resistant gloves, chainsaw chaps or pants, and sturdy boots with good traction.

Many rental facilities offer basic safety kits alongside chainsaw rentals. If you'll be using chainsaws regularly, investing in quality personal safety gear is advisable. Never operate a chainsaw without appropriate protective equipment, regardless of the job size.

While rental companies will rent chainsaws to beginners, inexperience significantly increases safety risks. If you've never used a chainsaw before, request a demonstration from the rental staff and thoroughly review the operator's manual before starting. Begin with smaller, more manageable cutting tasks to build comfort with the tool's operation.

For significant cutting jobs, consider either taking a chainsaw safety course first or hiring professionals instead. The learning curve for safe chainsaw operation is steep, and caution is paramount.

If mechanical problems develop during your rental, immediately cease operation and contact the rental company. Most reputable rental businesses will either provide a replacement chainsaw or repair the equipment if the breakdown resulted from normal use rather than misuse. Document the issue with photographs when possible and maintain records of when you reported the problem.

Having your rental agreement readily available when you call will expedite the resolution process. The rental company should adjust your rental period to account for any downtime.
