Also, in some instances, the wood starts tight to walls then spread out as it goes along. In addition, Erick cut half-moon holes in two of the baseboards to adjust for transitions. When I noticed and verbalized that I was not happy with this and needed a straight line across the baseboards, Eric said it had to be done this way. I did not know any better until learning later that transitions are placed against baseboards and not underneath. I was the only one home at the time the work was being done.
