"TAAP owner contacted us immediately via phone to setup an initial <br /> appointment and estimate.  He arrived 3 minutes early before the <br /> scheduled time.  He was booking a few weeks out and due to that offered <br /> to explain to us how to "do-it-yourself." or to book the service.  His <br /> do-it-yourself guidance along with taking a follow up call with more <br /> questions led me to address out squirrel invasion without having to wait <br /> a few weeks for availability. The owner was patient, understanding, and took time to explain and answer all questions.  His quoted price for the service was fair, especially compared to some competitors.  Given his willingness to teach me a bit, since he knew it was not best to wait a few weeks to address the squirrels, I was able to do it myself and save hundreds of dollars.  If my do-it-yourself techniques had not worked there is no one else I would have called other than him to come do the work.  In the future, there is no one else I will call for extermination/rodent issues.  Last but not least, I also liked the fact that the business is local, rather than national.  I would much rather keep money in our community than fund a national endeavor. <br /> Overall, a big thank you is due to Angie's list for guiding me in this direction and to TAAP for being "people" rather than just business men.  4 Thumbs up from my wife and I! <br />"

"Called Sal Saturday afternoon about repairing a large piece of fascia that was flapping in the wind along the roof line. I could not reach it with my 24 foot ladder. He showed up the next morning on Sunday (Mother's Day). and did the repair thoroughly and safely. He also noticed that the downspout needed reattachment and just did it. "Back in March I started the process of finding someone to repair water damage created by Ice Dam'ing and at the same time replace some old and drafty doors and windows.  After going through five or six contractors we settled on Napora contracting.  All of the quoting and discussion is handled by Ivan Napora himself and he is also on the job site doing the work with his crew.  Ivan was real easy to work with.  He immediately diagnosed how the water was making it into the house and how to fix it properly after repairing the damage.  We also discussed the replacement doors and windows.  Upon settling on everything and choosing to go with Ivan I asked that he put us in line to get some work done.  At this point he was approximately three months out due to winter back ups.  That was fine for us and we were patient.  Ivan contacted me ready to get to work but at that time we weren't available on the days he had free.  So he worked another job that he had in queue and followed up again after it was complete.   <br /> At this point we were able to settle on a few days to get the work done.  On the first day it was just Ivan and one other gentleman.  The goal that day was to get all of the doors / windows removed and replaced.  This went without much of a problem until he got to one door that had some unseen water damage.  Instead of just being a door replacement Ivan had to replace the header above the door and approximately another 4-5 8ft 2x4s worth of wood around the frame.  He didn't flinch though and took care of the issue for us at a very reasonable additional cost beyond the quote.  Before doing that work he consulted with me to make sure I was ok with the fix and understood that there would be a minor cost increase.   <br /> Day two was spent repairing the damage and fixing the cause along with trim work inside and wrapping windows / door frames outside.   Day three was just a few hours in the AM cleaning up and calking, etc.  Ivan and his crew were always courteous and professional and they cleaned up every night before leaving.  The job site was very clean upon completion and we are very happy with the work Ivan did.  We would definitely use him again. <br />"
