Customers say: Terrific value

"We hired Cody to remodel our kitchen, hall bath, master bath, and basement bath. Cody provides excellent value as his quote was 30% less than the other three quotes we received. He was able to start the job within two weeks of the quote. Kitchen, half bath, and hall bath went smoothly and in a timely manner. When we began the master bath remodel we had several no-call no-shows. This continued for several weeks with limited responses and additional delays without definition of when he would return. We approached Cody about setting expectations for completion and communication. He offered to quit half way through the job if we were unhappy with his timelines and communication. He agreed to finish the bathroom and conversion of a loft to a bed room by adding a wall and a closet. The bathroom was finished after several back and forth and additional weeks. After three additional weeks of working on the 4th bedroom conversion, with several no-shows and pushing the timeline, the wall and closet remained unfinished. We have elected to move to another contractor to finish the project after 15 weeks. I am sure this was an isolated incident, and that Cody typically provides excellent customer service, but the lack of responsiveness, accountability, and ability to communicate timelines did not align with our needs."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Springboro, OH

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
