"My regular mason retired and I hate finding a new contractor. I took a shot and called Long Island Mason and Concrete. The owner arrived within an hour, we looked the job over. Large shed I'm replacing and I wanted a slab. He then offered to do the shed demo and haul it all away. The total quote was very resonable so I said, "do it". He asked when I wanted it done and I said ASAP. I got a call a day later telling me they would be here tomorrow. Great crew arrived at 8:00, demoed the shed, hauled it away, cleaned and leveled the area, installed the forms and poured. They were done and gone by noon. I now have a new Mason and I'm thrilled to use them again for upcoming projects in my family."

Most recently, Kazi repaired a leak in our roof, corrected the pitch of the roof, replaced the drain and drain pipe, re-flashed all seams on our roof, and coated it with a silicone roof sealant. In addition, Kazi repaired the ceiling of the top floor apartment, installed a new roof hatch, resealed all the windows on the back of the house, repaired some crumbling pointing, and scraped and repainted our fire escape. Guess they only want big jobs and $5300 in work is just a drop in the bucket to them. "Martinez Brick came the following day to inspect my “3 sidewalk squares” for replacement. He told me the 4th one should also be replaced, as it was elevated. He gave me a price for 4 squares that was less than a competitors price for 3. Then he said that he would cut $400 off if I could do it “this Saturday”, a date at his convenience because he had a job close by. I said “great!” It rained Saturday and he couldn’t pour cement in the rain. He said “I’ll be there Tuesday”, and I’m honoring the discounted price. Okay. Monday night he called and said he will come Wednesday for sure because he doesn’t want his workers pouring cement in 98 degree heat! I like a boss who cares about his employees. He came on Wednesday and did a PERFECT job!"
